Show off with your score!
Time for some score comparison
Red skies of Dover: 1480 points  Tiger hunt: 78 points :( (Both on simulation difficulty) Tiger hunt proved extremely frustrating for me. Though I saw claims that ammo is unlimited on all modes my rockets are not reloading in realistic and sim difficulty. Due to my bad aiming (lets call it guessing, you hardly see the targets) I had to eject several times in order to have fresh supplies. Actually I love ground missions in sim games more than air2air, but the Dover mission really got me hooked - I played it approximately 30 times this weekend. My greatest moment must have been damaging two bombers' engines and having them drift towards each other, resulting in a nice violent explosion when they collided  What's your score and what was your favourite moment when playing the demo? Time to frustrate me ;) |

How many targets did you shoot down? 100? Or have you been extremely quick? I still don't know how the points are calculated but >3000 points is really awesome. |
Trick is: Dont die :-P shoot down couple of bombers, i think i killed 8.

i dont like landing because i dont have brakes.
But you got pretty much kills there. See what i can do today! xD But first a warm up in arcade! |

Did anybody actually ever finish Tiger Hunt on Simulation or Realistic difficulty with only one attempt? 40 rockets is much more than they actually had on the Mustang in WWII but still it's not enough to destroy all artillery, the tanks plus two trains. |
I ignore the ground targets in tiger hunt, fly high above first checkpoint and a wing of 8 FW190D jump in.
Lets start the dogfight! |
Sim score- a modest 3655 on Dover... 8kills...
last game finally made a beautiful run on 3 heinkels without a scratch and then clipped a fourth.... one he111 flipped into another! Utterly jaw dropping... beginning to come together with barrell roll attacks on he111 and looping scissors to bleed speed and reposition...love this game! ________ Honda P50 history |
what do you mean no brakes? There are brakes when you land in this game, reversing the throttle thumb stick slows you to a stop when landing. im 90% postive on this, it cant be friction it slows way too fast for that.;)

I know that pulling the throttle back on the controller engages the brakes, but we heard no comment from the devs yet. Though it would explain why you sometimes flip over when stopping - which is kind of annoying when you pulled off a nice landing :( |
Me be mad

Should be good tactic for killing the pilot!

did some research today and head on was a favoured anti bomber tactic...I also saw a Pathe news info film showing a hurricane attack pattern across the wing axis avoiding the gunners arcs of fire...
now if only I could avoid target fixation I might not ram the buggers!! ________ Legal marijuana dispensary |
