Air Group 51 is looking for some pilots to fill out the ranks of it's torpedo squadron, VT-51. Applicants who are lone wolfs need not apply. We are seeking folks with experience preferably, but that is not a requirement. We can teach you what you need to know. We are seeking folks whom are interested in immersing themselves in a dedicated US Navy carrier air group that enjoys it's work as much as it's fun. We are a "full real" squad, member in good standing with FISC http://www.gofisc.com/ and regularly participate in online campaigns against other squads using Scorched Earth. There's a couple of TBF campaigns out on M4T, by a guy called Phil_K. Tried the Okinawa one and it's eye-popping so far.......

Without a doubt, Phil_K is one of the better campaign builders for the Pacific theater. Try some of his Hell in the Pacific campaigns.

Anyone interested in flying off a carrier, traveling to strange, exotic places, meeting new people, and virtually killing them? :D

We're just getting started with an SEOW campaign against the Fuji Flyers. If anyone is interested in flying over the blue Pacific for extended periods of time in search of the enemy, only to have to fly back across the same expanse of ocean in search of your mobile home, come give us a look :)

what's an extended period of time? I once created a Midway-styled mission early in my efforts at mission building. It was an online coop, and almost hilarious. Some guys selected only half a tank of gas (Wildcat pilots), and ran out of fuel. The stars were starting to show and guys were getting cranky, finally dropping out one by one because of how long the flight was and no fighting. Someone told me the average attention span in a coop, before action, was about eight minutes! LOL!!

Our missions in the Scorched Earth campaign are limited to an hour and a half, and believe me, if you're still looking for the boat by then, you're BEGGING for some extra time!!
