use3renders=1 and hardwareshaders=1
When I setup the sim to use both options to 1 a black box is flashing on bottom left corner inside the cockpit.
I read in several forums, nvidia, matrox, sorround gaming, etc. that is a bug in il-2 game. No matter version, OS, drivers, etc. This issue can be solved anyway? Will patch 4.09m solve this? Will I enjoy il-2 as real as posible in this game? Or Will I need to wait to SoW? |
yes

there has been no indication from oleg that this will be fixed in 4.09, and wasnt fixed in beta 4.09.
BoB will be completely new code, so there should be no similar bug then again, from the pictures i have seen of the pc's setup used by the BoB coders, they are still using small crt displays in their russian office. this makes me suspect they will have a lack of awareness, or a reduced concern, of the importance of errors reported from westerners with high end systems using multiple large lcd displays (in the same way that in 2008 we still dont have true widescreen options in il2 , or high resolution settings for large modern flat panel displays either). |

Hi e69_v,
I have the same issue. I have posted about this for a few years and have even setup a web page to demonstrate the issue. At this stage I doubt it would get fixed but no problem in try to get your voice heard. I recommend you try sending an e-mail to pf@1c.ru and see if they respond. I have sent a few emails to them over the years and maybe if they see more from other people they might push this up in importance. Here is the link to a page I set up to demonstrate the problem, feel free to send this link if you send an e-mail: http://il2.netteq.com/th2g_problem.html |

Thank you for your info. Maybe it's time to send some emails to support people to get an answer... |

"il-2 1946 was published by Ubisoft, please contact their support.http://www.ubi.com/US/Support/Default.aspx" It surprises me this answer because other requests I made to 1c support were replied correctly. |

i think this would give a good idea of how important it is to 1c,
that there are il2 users out there having bugs with multi monitor high resolution wide screen setups :) a BoB programmer hard at work in sophisticate programming environment in 2008, with state of the art equipment |

it is the blind leading the blind in forums like this, why believe he knows anything more then you do ? there is a few posters here who have some inside information, as beta testers etc..., but he aint one of them thats for sure right now you know about as much as anybody else here, or even more because you have tried to approach 1c to fix it and seen for yourself how important they judge it. from the information we have to go by right now, dont hold your breath waiting for it to be fixed. |

naive, is for you to have any confidence in it being fixed, just because you seem to believe il2 is perfect and everything that is identified as a problem will always get fixed cynical, is for me to believe it is not going to be fixed, just because i have noticed 1C have already overlooked so many other important bugs that could have been easily solved |

I simply stated that the bold text in your quote I reiterated was a naive one to make, nothing to do with the claims you are making at me now. Ranting away at 1c in this thread is not helpful. Quote:
This may help you. http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/t...5/m/4521077615 Sorry I could not be any more help to you e69 v. Merry Christmas. |

I was just waiting for an "official answer" when I opened the post. I was wondered that nobody reported this problem in this forum. And I wanted to avoid that Maddox Games could say that nobody reported this error and we never solved it for that reason. Now if they will not solve this problem is because they don't want to solve it. Thank you Alpha and Merry Christmas. |
This is highly unlikely to be fixed since all work on il2 has stopped.
