II./JG1 is one of the oldest online squadrons with only the WingWalkers and Arabian Knights formed only 2 months before JG1 in 1992. We emphasize teamwork and cooperation.

Our staples of online competition is Forgotten Skies, http://www.forgottenskies.com/Forgot...Home.mvc/Index, and Scorched Earth, http://seow.sourceforge.net/. Forgotten Skies plays host to the cream of the crop of online fighters and bombers. Competition is FIERCE and JG1 meets the challenge three nights a week!

While we fill the slots of what aircraft is needed for the job - we do have a whole Staffel, 4./JG1, that is dedicated to JaBo and bombers. On top of that we have 2 other staffels that focus on the protecting the assests, 5./JG1 and 6./JG1.

With a command Stab, Stab./JG1 we are able to coordinate online events, maintain all of our methods off communications, TeamSpeak - forums - website, and maintain a few dedicated servers for dogfights, coops and training.

II./JG1 is a seriously minded North American based squadron with a long and distinguished history. JG1 was founded in March 1992 flying Red Baron Online. This year, we are celebrating 17 years on the internet. And during those 17 years, we've prided ourselves on a solid foundation of accomplishment and tradition, emphasizing training, tactics and teamwork.

Currently, II./JG1 is comprised of one GruppenStab (Command Flight), one JaboStaffel (Fighter-Bomber Squadron) and two Jagdstaffeln (Fighter Squadrons).

As a result, we are looking for pilots of all skill levels who are interested in flying Luftwaffe aircraft in either an air-to-air or ground attack role.
