now, that 4.12.2 is running well, work is ongoing to the next major step, 4.13. We will frequently inform you here about upcoming content, as usual. :)

The first update on this new patch features an interesting and often requested bomber of the german Luftwaffe - the Heinkel He 177 A-3. It will be available as AI only for now.

(BTW for those who do not know: its a 4-engine!)

Alright! Its friday and we try to keep it on fridays... so here we present a new cockpit, which converts an AI plane into a flyable one: the N1K1-J (both available types)

New external model, pilot, bombardier + 7 gunners equals 6 totally separate pits (which are all modelled very accurately) and thousands of man-hours spent.

Of course the intervalometer & Norden are working here like we showed you before and ball turret has rotating sounds that were recorded from real B-24 ball turret. New multi-function key has been added for gunners which is used to lower/raise the ball turret & open the waist gunner hatches. Also this birds does have little extra that we don't want to show you yet.

Dear IL-2 fans!

First of all we wish a Happy New Year! (if its not too late for that) :roll:
Well you maybe have been asking yourself, what happend to us and the ongoing patching. We are very sorry for not making much noise lately!

We were (and still are) reorganising the team and things have slowed down during testing and fixing phases. We wished to have the release date near last Christmas, but there where bugs to catch -as usual - and we just didn't want to rush it, just at the cost of the quality. We hope you understand our intentions.

We had 3 Alpha and 2 Beta versions - and currently the first RC in testing. Thus we are pretty sure, that it won't be too long until the final release of 4.13.

So again we say sorry for the silence and the long delay - after all, we are still there! ;)

AND we already have alot of new stuff to add, planes, incl. flyables, objects as well as features, so this story may continue quite well. Stay tuned...! ;-)
