Mods?
I don't read russian, and I'm sure that some interesting mods were created by the player since the month of April.
I would like to know if the actual mods made by the russian community will be compatible with the US and EU version, and what are actually the most popular ones. :) |

It is unclear if they work with English version. There is a playable alpha of a mod that allows your hero to participate in fights directly, sorta like Homm4. :cool: |

Someone posted a MOD to the demo that allowed the camera height to be double the distance. Does anyone have a similar MOD for the retail version. It really makes a difference IMO.

The mod you're talking about works for the final version of the game.

The file you are looking for is called mod_164_camera.kfs which is a mere 1 kb in size. I can't remember where I got it from but it is in this forum somewhere. :rolleyes: Someone can post a link to it. It needs to go in the data directory. That's it.

Is there a mod that lets you rotate the arena battles all the way around or rotate to a top-down view? I tried editting the camera settings such as ARENA_MAX_PITCH and ARENA_YAW_DELTA etc but they didn't seem to have any effect.

Can someone please make a mod that shows the estimated number of enemy troops? This is mainly for Scouting lvl1&2 when you can only see 'lots' 'horde' 'few' etc.
These were included in the HoM&M3 manual (e.g. 'few' was 1-4, 'several' 5-9, 'pack' 10-19 etc.) but I can't find the same info for King's Bounty. I suppose there is a file somewhere in one of the .kfs archives you can find and modify. Thanks! |

Love the mod that makes the player look like a demoness but her walk speed appears to be substantially slower. Anyway to modify this without making all demoness enemies move faster also. Solved my own problem setting walk speed and run speed to 7.0 seems to be about the same. Tested the necromancy mod it doesnt not appear to work, in russian or in english versions, all troops including your own die with one hit.

Testing the sacrificial knife mod and it seems to work but dialogue options need translation. You visit a town to obtain the sacrificial knife, it appears to work first by talking to the knife the dialogue option you select seems to choose which army to sacrifice, if you select a valid army to sacrifice you should then have one of two choices if you select the second one and then use the knife the army you selected will be converted to undead. Is it possible for someone to translate dialogue?
