any eta on english release date?

Sadly this has been raised a number of times in a number of forums but radio silence from 1C. It's almost like they couldnt be bothered promoting this at all.

Yeah, sad. If the game is a success, then we will probably see a SP3. But it won't be a success without a release in English. SR2 was 1C's most successful game in 2008 (I think), perhaps they no longer need to money. And communication is not one of their strong points.

Really wondering what they are up to here. I already don't quite understand why they pulled SR1 and SR2 off the shelves. I guess I could see it if they were pushing HD out into the stores and wanted that to be the focus but it's taking so long now, what's the point of not having the game up for sale at all for such a long period of time?

Anyone know what state the RU edition of HD is in at least?

I guess they are waiting until the game is so widely available for free download that nobody will buy it. It seems silly that they are not pushing this out sooner.

Agreed. It's a rather strange approach to marketing this game. I would imagine that there would be at least some attempt to garner some publicity but its been radio silence for a really long time.

You have been all wondering about the English version of the game.
We are working on the translation. Unfortunately we cannot provide you with any specific release date yet due to large amounts of texts to be localized.
We’ll update you later.

Ok. Maybe is one month a lot of time but they didn´t unrevealed a cancelling message either...

English version isn't canceled by any means. It will be released ASAP when translation is ready.

Is there an e-mail news letter or some way we can be notified once the release is ready? I keep checking back every day hoping to be able to buy and play this game.

You can 'like' its page on Facebook, for example. Or check these forums. Or read Steam news. Anyway, we'll do our best so this kind of info won't be missed:)

Seemed mixed; one thread sez all bugs fixed in patch another thread sez game is unplayable buggy both threads are dated today :)

This is unpredictable russian soul...

I'm playing in last version, almost all bugs will fixed now. New versions include new content. For example, last patch adds new guns to game.

SNK-Games team leader, Yakov Uvarov, aka ru_maniac says yesterday on his forum:
18.07.13, 12:19:44 ru_maniac: Перевод игры на английский практически готов, 24-го числа должны будем получить предварительную версию ресурсов целиком.

That means: Translation to English almost complete, after 24 of july we will get preliminary version of completely translated resources.

So, we can hope, game will be released at the beginning of autumn.

Of course it will be up-to-date. By the way, the patches brought not only the fixes, but also a new content - new equipment, gun modifiers, etc.
