The King's Bounty demo doesn't start.
Hi all.
I've installed the King's Bounty demo. When I start the game, it shows this window : http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/6153/wtfdm0.png So, I click "OK", and it does... Absolutely nothing. It justs close the window and doesn't launch the game. Did I miss something? |

I tried, but it does nothing.
I also tried to reboot my PC, but that doesn't change anything. |

I looked at the task manager and the process kb.exe closes quickly after I pressed "ok".
I'll send a mail, thanks. |
Okay, problem solved : the game starts when I desactivate my dual screen. :/
|
WAIT... Will this game use Starforce protection?
|
Would it not be better to start a seperate thread for that ?

I really hope a digital delivery version is coming. |
The game now runs without desactivating my dual screen... Weird. But cool.
Oh, another thing : I tried to activate the windowed mode via game.ini, but it doesn't seem to work. Any idea to fix that? |
Installed on Vista But Wont work.
Ugh, I know, Vista, But bare with me.
I installed the game. And then I try to run it and it says: "Unable to access or modify the system registry. Make sure you have privileges to write to the system registry." Now the game is running in admin mode and I don't have Dual screen's on. Anyone have any ideas? |
Hi there!
I just downloaded the (French) demo and when I try to start the game an error pop-up says me that the d3dx9_33.dll is not found, even after re-installation. What can I do? Re-download? Thanks in advance. EDIT: It works now, thanks! |

Oh hey Zenithale, yeah reinstalling Directx seems to be the solution, my littlebrother had the same problem with the game i think, but reinstalling Directx let him play the game.

1) download program 3D Analyze 2.36 FREE and extract it to any folder 2) run this program, click on Select and navigate to folder where Kings Bounty is installed, doubleclick on file kb.exe 3) In 3D Analyze tool there is checbox "Emulate HW TnL caps". This have to be checked 4) Finally, click Run button, confirm by pressing OK and game runs fine P.S.: Thanks to user spamm from this forum, his suggestion in another topic works perfectly. Many thanks mate! |
never mind, I know what I did wrong

Hello, well im very curious to play this game *sorry for my english* but cannot play it ,it ask me for an activation key to play the demo, how can i play it?

When I start the demo it gives two options.
1. Ok 2. Activate If you push activate it asks you to insert a code. If you push 'ok' it starts the demo. |
