Hi, soo me and my two buddies are currently alternating positions between leader and wingman xD..

This is a long shot I do realize lol xD But you never know. If some people wants to join in the fun we can see if it works out :)

We're on skype, but we're open to use team speak or whatever if you guys got your own servers xD

Here's a sample of what we're doing now:

kakashi,

there were several virtual aerobatic teams using il2, and a number of those were real aerobatic pilots using the game to practice various routines and experiment with new stuff

i have seen posts in the CoD forums that they are also now using CoD for this purpose, why not also try and track some of those teams down and see if what they do is of interest to you ? they probably have lists of common maneuvers used at airshows, and they might even have competitions set up between different teams

It may not be obvious, but me and pegazus are irl pilots. we did "some" aerobatics irl as well. though we re not aerobatic pilots, we did study the maneuvers we know our stuff and we experiment. Don't get me wrong some knowledge can't be bad but I feel it really is the practice we need versus the knowledge rightt now. we are not emerging, we're RE-emerging.

As for said teams I have no idea where to look for them :( I tried googling all I can find typing virtual aerobatic team cliffs of dover are lock on aerobatic teams xD !!

hi kakashi,

the ones i know for sure that have post in this CoD forum were a spanish team, who used to use il2 and more recently CoD

one of their comments was that the ground control of the new SU plane was now well modeled, medium speed maneuvers at low and medium altitude were pretty accurate, and high level flight was poorly modeled

thats about all i remember :)

searching this forum might locate them

These might give you a hint as to who to ask:

You might try youtube too. Look for CoD aerobatic videos, and comment on them or try to contact the posters.

Here's one team. They are in this early video asking for Oleg Maddox (developer of CoD) to include the Su26 which at the time wasn't included in the sim.

I notice that Oleg answered them in the comments section.
