Last battle of Britain RAF pilot died
 
William Walker joint his comrades last weekend. The last battle of Britain pilot died at the age of 99.

I think he was the oldest, not the last. Geoffrey Wellum and Tom Neil are still with us.
Gets fewer every year though :(

I think Wing Commander Roger Morewood (Hurricanes and Blenheims) is still around.

They said on the radio news last night that there are about 60 BoB pilots still alive [not sure about that but maybe].

Just to add to this, I was lucky enough to stand with Wing Commander Bob Foster DFC whilst the Hurricane he flew and acheived kills with in the Battle of Britain, R4118, flew overhead and performed a display. This was about a month ago so add one to that list!

An absolutely top chap and a real fighter pilot, still.

I think that he was the oldest surviving BoB pilot. I'm sure that there are still a number of BoB pilots still alive.
