Thanks Binky
Here's another two for all you race fans :) How about a couple pics of these things in action? http://airwarfare.com/sow/index.php/...-su26-pack-no2 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3.../RacingAd2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ins/CokeAd.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...edStripeAd.jpg |

Great skins, thank you!
|
Thanks Tom.
I actually got a rating on one of my SU packs the other day.. (Very rare for people to take the time to rate a skin these days) I might just have to pump out a couple more to keep up the variety ...and the masses happy. S~ |
Is there any way you can give away the template so that we make our own :) ? I'm just asking for an easy way to get started on my su 26.. I have NO IDEA how to make one my self.
In il2 1946 it was easy with the void... but now I'm stomped PS: Your skins are definately good though don't get me wrong!! :D I just like my plane to have my touch :) is all! Since I have photoshop elements I figured why not? |
Your wish, is my command...
I left the "Red Stripe" paint and markings layers to give a sense of where everything is. Also included is a "visible parts" layer and a rivet layer to make your life as easy as possible. The rivet layer has a mind blowing 50 rivets maybe? hehe, easiest template I've ever made. Enjoy. Winrar file includes a PSP and PSD version. http://airwarfare.com/sow/index.php/...-su26-template http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ps2e0ca33f.gif |
You're awesome thank you so much :) !!
PS: really xD 50 rivets xD !! sounds mind blowing in a way ! |
All I ask, is that you share a pic of your creation with me once you're finished.
...And now that you mention it, that does sound rather bad-ass to be flying a plane with only 50 rivets  |

Let's see if this works :) http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/attachm...7&d=1357258063 |
Aha!! Excellent, thanks!
|
Naaa thank you :) would have been flying the original one if it wasn't for you xD !!! I'll probably keep working on them for a while though but I don't really know what to do xD I'm no pro at making planes or cars beautiful xD
|
Those are all really great skins. The Coka Cowla one has just the right shade of red (that's not easy to do, I think). And the racer '18' is very fine too.
Thanks for very generously sharing the template...and thanks to your sponsers too :-). |
Hey me again! Going through the skins again (will post pic's of final result but for now still not feeling like it's ready)... huum and one thing I realized yesterday was the "white" as in void is waaaay to flashy that HD effect makes them too reflective so was looking at darker shades of whites (still not grey)..
NATURALLY :D I took a peak at the red stripes (nice beer mate !!! good choice) skin you have within the template... and .... was like this white is perfect but it's not a single colour is it oO!! How did you make that one ?! |
@ Major Setback.. You're very welcome.

There I think i've reached the final skin :) I darkened the blue, the white, the writings, added Markings, pin ups and callsign image on vertical stabilizer (Since we don't have a leader... wouldn't make much sense :) )
Also tweaked a bit the lines... what you think ?! :P http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/attachm...1&d=1357598697 http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/attachm...1&d=1357598697 http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/attachm...1&d=1357598697 http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/attachm...1&d=1357598697 http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/attachm...1&d=1357598697 |
Coolio.
Although.. I see a black spot at the front of the wingroot. ...I think. Is that intentional? |

EDIT: still no clue where it comes from -_- |
I'll take a look when I get home later.
|
I have checked the template to see if it was my fault or not. I didn't have alot of time to check, but I did see a little bit of black on the skin, once in game. It looks like a bit of weathering maybe?
If you could, try to change the negative area of your skin (if your negative area is black), and change it to the navy blue you've used to see if that fixes it or not. Good Luck! |
nope.. still there.. it also added some black else where... mmm let's see it does narrow it down somehow I guess xD
==> How come nothing visible turned blue xD ?! |
Yeah no... it's a game bug.. good call there good eye :) but it's also in original red stripes skin!
|
FANTASTIC WORK! and Thanks for doing those templates!
Can you make a He-111 as DHL "truck"? :D http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...press_logo.svg |
Believe it or not, there is a slight possibility. ;)
|
do you do allied skins as well? spitfires? i can think of loads of good ones.
BRITISH AIRWAYS BP VIRGIN ATLANTIC and just for fun, AIRFIX |
Been fooling around a tad on that DHL skin.. (not anywhere near finished).
And NO! to "am I painting allied skins.. spitfires..". If my Geschwader Kommodore ever found out, I might see the wrong end of a rope ;). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1-17_00001.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...1-17_00002.jpg |
As always.. Payment will be acceptable in the form of a screenshot or two ;)
