can someone please tell me where and how i can fly the SU-26?There is no quick mission builder and i am not good with the FMB.Is there a server or any other way i can try it?I dont see anywhere in Dover that i can just fly a map with any plane like the quick mission builder in our old il2.

thank you Farber,i went there and tried it.a very strange little plane.trackir and cockpit views seem limited compared to all the other cockpits.i would think in a plane like this a person would want to see all around.

Single mission/ Cross country.Double click on the plane in the select screen (Blenheim?) and you can change aircraft.I assume the SU is there in the list?

What Uther suggests will work.. but you won't be able to use the childish weaponry the IL2 team has given us. You can only add weapons by using the FMB.


On another note.. This IS a WWII flight simulator, correct???

- Shotgun – fires "everyone's" favorite green tracers ???
- Laser – fires a beam that sets an enemy plane alight. ???
- Antimatter mortar – fires anti-matter spitwads ???
- Railgun ???

And, is this supposed to simulate what it's like to need glasses?
Pffffttt and this is supposed to be a little gift?

I think you might need to check your settings, I see the gauges clearly.

The Su26 might be fun dogfighting other Su26. I didnt think much of it either till I went on lead farm 2. Could be fun for a while but certainly a fad.

Does anyone know what those two lights are in the top right?

I knew I shouldn't have bought my SU at a yard sale.
Funny. None of my other AC's guages look blurry like that.

I think the top one is to show high temperature warning, the one below may be oil. I'll have to look the next time I fly it

They light up before take off but go out when the throttle is applied... Its in Russian but holding the mouse over it does nothing...

did you revert back to sterm version beofre applying patch? - Maybe you got a bad download as I didnt revert... ;)

Now that you mention it... I didn't revert :/ my bad.

Because this was promised on release sir, so the "cra*" was already in there, and as such was well over due for release! Some indeviduals only wanted this "cra*". People like me who only play multiplayer regard single player as "cra*"... However if I was to say this out loud there would be a number of people with bad things to say about me! So, what Im trying to say is, one mans "cra*" is another mans treasure! ;) Dont forget that! :-P
