ATAG's New secret weapon

We all know ATAG spearhead the online Clod campaign, but little known is the fact that they are testing secret weapons for it too.
This was spotted as a cigar sized object on the horizon after takeoff from Hawkinge last night. Though quite the purpose of it is currently unknown.

Spaceship anyone?

Well, it's an effective tactic against skip bombs and torpedoes! LOL

When someone asked if we had "airships" on the ATAG Server, we weren't quite prepared for this! :)

..the prop thrust is over-modelled:rolleyes:

Has anyone added this as a bug in the bug tracker? Its been going on for some time. I understand these ships are the moving "Chief" types and not the statics.

IMO this is a netcode problem. It doesn't seem to happen until there are many players on. Hopefully one of these years it will be looked at.

About the spaceship: A little birdy told me if you shoot it with your forward facing guns that it might drop back to the water. Give it a try ;)

Are you sure someone isn't trying to recreate my Ghostship mission from IL2?

We need some lights before those ATAG boys can continue with their "secret" weapon ;).

"The final countdown" perhaps? Nuclear Carrier "Nimitz" time warping back to 1942 to defend Pearl Harbour. Tomcats against Zeros.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fin...own_%28film%29

Perhaps in this case is the carrier "Invincible" warping from 1983 to 1940 to defend Britain from Luftwaffe's offensive. SeaHarriers against Me-109s.

LOLOL

while the germans were farting around with jets and electric submarines, soviets trying to get now content for their armies, and the americans figuring out how to make the best hamburgers and fries

the british were readying their aerial armadas,

ROF facts:

ROF is only patched to add new content, never to fix issues.

The only ROF issues are non game related, such as pricing, unavailability at brick and mortar stores, or no official released jet campaigns such as top gun or vietnam.

ROF bugs experienced by the dev crew are usually taken care of in office by Terminex or Orkin.
