Coool.. Another project :) I can do a version of it for you while you wait for another's.
Any idea what the pilot's name was? I can't seem to find anything else on the aircraft. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...knownPilot.jpg Still a little work left to do to her, but I'm sure by the end of the weekend I can have it done. |
Good evening,
The pilot's name was Hans Schubert 3.JG01 Based in Holland in 1941. For the second, the pilot's name was Josef Emil Clade and the 1.JG01 WNr.809 for the plane. I Thank You, Verily cool to have them.:-P |
Thanks for the info..
Still some tweaking to do with the brown camo, but I'm wondering about that spinner, and would like some input if possible. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...sSpinnerII.jpg 1. Do we all agree that the spinner is yellow and black, and not white and black? (I don't like to trust those paintings) 2. Do we think the spinner looks like this? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...rtsSpinner.jpg Agree or disagree? Until then.. here's another pic while I work. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...G1Schubert.jpg |
Hello JG26 EZ,
The spinner seems to me just as you did, it was yellow and black like the front of the plane nose yellow least if I'm wrong I do not think it's black bench and I is not too information on this subject. |
Here it is...
Let me know what you think ..I can always make an adjustment if needed. http://airwarfare.com/sow/index.php/...ubert-yellow-3 Enjoy.. EZ http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ertPosterB.jpg |

It looks like hell at the moment, but I'm currently trying to line up the camo.. And don't worry... the colours will change, and the camo will be cropped after everything is lined up. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ODskins/W2.jpg |
Thank you for the project information in court is nice.:-P
|
I've used RLM 70, and 75... Let me know what you think before I start clipping at the camo.

The serial number of the aircraft is WNr 1809.
Thank you for this wonderful work. |
Tom.. Thanks bud, nice to hear it.. I thought it blended into the background quite nicely too! :)
Hartmann... DAAAaaamn!! that IS "1809", and not "809" heh.. I thought so, but the source that I've been looking at said 809. I should have known better.. my source also said it was JG27. It's an easy fix, so I'm not too worried, aswell as that red label on the side.. |

|
My pleasure Hartmann.
I'll put it up this evening when I get home from work. |
It's cool thank you :-P .
|
I have also included a version with the gray colour you provided me (because I aim to please) ....but I don't like it quite as much (...and I don't like to trust the painted Bf109 profiles so much because of colour degradation or artist's perception). If you'd like a blank version of the gray version, let me know..
http://airwarfare.com/sow/index.php/...l-clade-white2 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...adeCompare.jpg Enjoy. |
Really excellent work of high art thank you.
I want the gray clean version. I Thank You for taking the time for these projects. |
