Anyone else get Launcher exe crash after exiting with ESC
 

Like the title suggests, is anyone else getting Launcher exe crash after exiting single player game with Esc? I saw in Blacksix update that they cannot locate the Launcher exe crash bug, but does he even mean this one? Has anyone found a solution to it if they have had it?

Hey PotNoodles, yep i too get this but I have been a bit slack recently and not forwarded on my log files to the Devs.

I will do from now on if they are struggling to identify it. :)

Yes... i get that since last patch.

I doubt it is the crash they are looking for.. and no fix i'm aware of.

When I close the game I get a launcher crash when I am back on the desktop. However, since it´s hapeenign always in the same moment at the end, it doesn´t bother me. Better threre, then in the midst of the game :grin: .

My Launcher crashes after I exit the game - 100% of the time.
I don't care though... it's just a win7 error message. Has 0 affect on gameplay or enjoyment.

Pstyle, I got the same as you describe. Exiting game and get a crash, but no crashlogs generated.

I get 2 kinds the 1 you said , an 1 when i get into game for first time ,When i hit create . which could take me up to 3 times to finially get into game ;)

The Launcher.exe craches are at random and never at a logical moment.

I have been testing allot in FMB which is essentially single player. I find if I quit the stats menu ASAP it does not crash...

I've been experiencing the launcher exe crashes for the first time. Like others it happens when I exit the sim, which isn't a big problem, although I've had them after changing options in the video settings, and I have to repeat the settings change till it works.

You may find pseudo full screen option helps. In video settings.

Not once for me, see MP's post re launcher crash. Can't get the launcher crash a lot are talking about and I'm running the latest patch.

I had it with everything I did, be it flying, changing settings or in FMB.

Cured it by reverting to last 'official' patch then walking away until the next one.

Reminds be a little to my FSX, there was always a problem when you were using "right click" to often (to change the view or anything). It always resulted in a crash.
This problem was solved by copying one specific file into the FSX mainfolder (UIAutomationCore.dll).

i got it a few times after installing the latest beta over the official patch. If i remember correctly i verified the cache back to the last official and deleted the 1csoftclub folder, reinstalled the next beta + mini fix, had a quick flight, then installed the latest beta (i didnt clear the cache folder). Havnt had this error once since then. Could it be caused by an install problem?

Thought it might be of interest and could help others since I did have this error, but now dont.

I'll just have to wait for next weeks patch before trying to play the game again because it looks awful with the tree Lod. I won't revert back to official patch either because of the stutters.
