Ju-87 rudder not in the center

Maybe it was but I cant find here.

Please vote it: http://www.il2bugtracker.com/issues/235

In Ju-87 (CoD v.1.05.15950) the rudder isnt in the center in interior and exterior of model. This is default screen without touching the rudder - but aircraft flies ok forward. Please fix it.

Hi All,

+1 For BF109! The pedals are centred but not the ruder!

Hi. If you look the trimm knob (left panel, big grey knob), you see, the rudder trim isn't center by default.
Set to center, and the rudder will be ok...

Thx Tom, I will check, but why if You take Ju-87 from the beginning trim isnt in the center position? ;)

41Sqn_Banks 05-02-2012 07:39 PM

Because aircraft are trimmed for level flight by default.

How is possible? If I take aircraft on the grond I must take him with trimms for ZERO. Just for operations like take off, climbing, windy weather ect can setup trimms as we want - in the real. For me if You take virtual model must be too same, so you take aircraft with "nul" positions of all trimms.

It should be centered, or not, whatewer. It isn't a bug. Set to center before take off, and your problem solved :)

So what about the issue 235 in the bugtracker? Do you want me to change it to Bug: "Ju 87: Rudder trim not centered at startup"

Yes it can be!

But second question - I dont create the new subject - I noticed in Ju-87 than prop pitch lever works in oposit side than in other German aircraft. I don talk about situation when You use mouse for sure, but when prop You have set up on your controller (full engine management). Example : in Emil E-3 take lever of controler for increasing prop, lever in virtual cocpit did too same - forward so its ok. In Stuka, if You do too same lever in VC goes to backward (!) when you take your controller forward. For me its a bug but can any check this? Remeber - manual management.

Because 4 votes were already cast before the title and description was changed, the issue has been moved to #236: Ju 87: Rudder trim not centered at startup

All who have voted on 235, please do so again on 236.

@_YoYo_: Please update the reference in your first post (236 instead of 235) - but please don't change the text. Otherwise nobody will understand what the discussion was all about

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I agree that the aircraft must be trimmed before flight, but having just tried the Stuka, even with full left trim on,the rudder is still off centre,it does'nt come back to the centre, try it and look at it from a birds eye view and you'll see for yourself.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't look right to me,maybe I'm missing something, all other aircraft seem ok in this dept.

zahnartz62 05-03-2012 04:11 PM

My JU 87 rudder is off to the right looking at it from rear view and close up. I am using trim to visually line it up with fuselage. have not flown it for some days so quite surprised to note this and very glad to find others have this observation.

zahnartz62 05-03-2012 04:13 PM

I should have clarified..using my rudder trim wheel on Saitek x52 pro swings the entire rudder..I will check that again in a few hours as I must leave now. Cheers

Too same, tested with trimm left/right but on external view always see on more or less but right position.

zahnartz62 05-04-2012 02:08 PM

Flying Ju 87 on quick missions right aileron lifted unable to trim for level flight. Rudder ok today..will try again. I studied it carefully in close up and it was raised up I thought I had lost it until overhead look showed it intact.
