I've just got into the War of Thunder's closed beta :D

Actually, all owners of Wings of Prey got into it!

Exactly - I haven't got it either even though I've had WoP since ages and signed up for the beta ages ago too...

EDIT: Realized it was in the Yuplay store under "My Purchases" - downloading now :)

Oh snap! gotta install that yuplay thingie! *rummaging through overfull downloads folder*

Weird, but you see all those WoP patches etc under "My Purchases"?

No, problem probably is that I have WoP...but on Steam, not yuplay. When I signed up for the beta I got the yuplay account but there's nothing in it. I think it kind of sucks if only people that bought WoP on yuplay gets the invitation.

Well, you at least saved yourself some irritation with having to use Yuplay ;) People that whine about Steam should try Yuplay to see how good Steam really is compared to the competition (which goes for Origin too!)... Small consolation I guess ;)

It's a hefty download by the way - 12 Gb if you select maximum graphics... But they have wipped up an impressive plane list too. Let's just hope they spent some of that time on the FM/DM also!

OK, so after downloading the game and starting it (fast DL servers) I realize that the NDA has a clause that you can't even tell anyone that you are testing the game... So, I was only dreaming above ;)

Wow, that's a load of aircraft on the RAF tree, some really interesting ones too, the Hornet, the Whirlwind. I might pay my YuPlay account a visit.

This is very disappointing... I have WoP and the xpack as well as all the updates and beta signup in my 'purchases' list but no beta client :(

I wonder if the sounds have improved. Also that dark fade in edging always bothered me but I liked the Mediterranean area in the youtube video I saw of the G2. Didn't like the cockpits either even compared to IL-2 1946.

Agree - but that "dark fading" is possible to turn off in the settings (called vignette from the camera lens defect with the same name).
