At Friday died I-16 pit consultant Mihael Lubimov.

I have to announce a very sad news, and it has a direct bearing on Friday's update. This Friday has died, Mikhail Lyubimov, russian aviation historian, a fan of I-16 and just a good man and my friend. He was a tech consultant for creation I-16 cockpit for the future IL2 COD addon. At the forum scalemodels.ru his nickname was MAL16.

I'm very sorry to hear of that. Condolences to his family and loved ones. I hope his work lives on in the BoM I-16 cockpit. Perhaps a small inscription could be added in his honour. A bit like the Maddox label on one of he levers in the Spitfire cockpit. He'd probably have liked that.
