From E disadvantage to E advantage sample (by Mr.X)
Sorry, no English translation but quite self-explanatory. Just watch 109-E1 instruments for prop pitch management.
Mr.X concentrates on draining Hurri E and accumulating his own E (easy on stick all the time). Hurri makes a usual mistake of following 109 in a dive (looses E advantage) instead of climbing when 109 disengages. I was actually playing a track back of a couple of bomber missions in high resolution that MajorBoris and I did in a Ju-88 - trying to make a bomber short.
Well I recorded a track in a 109 recently again and I played this back and I forgot about this bug. But the plane engine isn't synced or something and the prop pitch and other gauges bounces a lot. This is why I started to fraps live but there is a lot of drawback to this especially if you have chatty comms for one. Plus you get all the garbage chat window messages, the sliders in the video view. So sometimes I just record the track and if anything interesting happens I fraps the parts of the track that I want. But the prop pitch and motor sound are all over the place still and has been for since it came out. There are plenty of videos on youtube already showing this including the ones above. Peace |
I only fly red (not for any particular reason other than not having time to learn blue).
Look for the one-on-one competition thread that Ataros posted a while ago. He is a good pilot. |

I went for a quick flight in a 109 this morning. Easy to start, easy to take off, easy to fly. And the compass isn't behind the bloody control stick - marvelous! I think I'll have a closer look. After all, I know the red tactics well now... See you around. |
