109e4 prop pitch and water rads with hotfix
Well gents figured out how to manual controls of prop pitch and water rad in your aircraft setting need to look for radiator automation set that to a key and for prop pitch need to set a key for prop pitch automation walla now you can use manual prop again and water rads. haven't figured out oil since there no oil rad automation.
|
It seems to prevent you from using both radiators manually when you set it to auto, though I don't know if it actually regulated the oil radiator irl. The temps stay down so I guess it must in game at least.
In any case you can manipulate both radiators again if you turn off the radiator automation. |
rgr i did solve the the big question for 109 pilots lol
|
I don't think that is the question, we figured out the automation setting within 10 minutes of loading the new patch, I think the big question is why the heck we have radiator automation in the first place.

from 109F on sure
http://109lair.hobbyvista.com/techre...ng/f_flaps.htm , in a 1940 109E, i dont know. |

it was very common for the automation as new German recruits pilots didn't really know how to use prop pitch in combat. manual prop pitch was for the more skilled pilots. |
Post your evidence, because the only radiator automation Im aware of is on the F and later, and then only for the intake lip and the top flap at the wings trailing edge, the lower flap was still controlled by the pilot.
No Emil, that Ive ever read about had this sort of automation but I would love to read about one that did. Until someone posts evidence its just speculation that they had it. |

ok to the end of this all i eventually can say the 109 emil does not have auto rads system here a link http://109lair.hobbyvista.com/index1024.htm

on that site look on the left look at tech ref systems and cooling.

(Except that the "perforated water tank" issue that never occurred in RL, because the overpressure valves (k) - but it's a completely different topic) |
The particular models that we flying in this
sim never had an automatic radiator hope that is a bug:( |
How do you get the best out of the E4 at sea level, on auto pitch i`m seeing around 370kmh, 1500rpm and if I remember correctly 1.4 manifold pressure. Is there a way to get higher speed or is 370kmh about right?
|
1.32ATA 2300RPM in AUTO should eventually get you around 460KMH at sea level ... depending on where you have your rads.
|
i dont believe that you reach 460Km/h while flying real level flight.445-450Km/h is the current max speed without descending slightly and without WEP.s
|
I wish planes of fame would sell that G10. They're not doing anything to it. It's just been sitting there for decades. It's a real G10 too not a Bouchon
|
Thats my point Ivan, on auto settings I wasn`t getting anywhere near 460kmh, is there a way to get maximum performance using auto in the E4, or what might I be doing wrong?
