New 505 top gun game
 

I saw today that 505 games is making a game called top gun:hard lock only saw 2 screen shots but it looks ok can't wait to take a ride on the highway to the dangerzone lol

Hard Lock? It sounds wrong to me for some reason, bringing Hard Luck to mind maybe. Still this looks ok, got some stiff competetion from the new Ace Combat though. They need to go more realistic to differentiate it from the crowd.

From that trailer I can say its going to be anything but realistic. Haha, Check out that insane roll rate @0:55 and then @1:09 the Phoenix missile that thinks its a AIM9X sidewinder :lol:.

God awful film deserves a awful game!
Presume it'll be full of "Mig" F-5's and Tiger II's to keep with the realism of the film....

Not to mention an all male beach volleyball mini game where you can get oiled up for some "bump n grind" action. Also a secret unlockable character, Kelly Mcgillis dressed as a bloke.

The fact the 505 games are having anything to do with it is more than enough to discourage me from even considering this title.

The way they treated IL2 players (more so xbox 360 players) was an absolute discrace. They can stick top gun where the sun doesnt shine :D

actually just watched the movie The Red Baron this week. some good flying scenes but Richthofen was portrayed by a macauly culkin looking kid. i kept waiting for him to slap his face and scream. i think i will pass on this game...especially with BoS and WoP coming out.

As for good WWII aerial combat films i think that's a good idea for a new thread! I'll post one now!

yes this film is very good ,just i find the mandfred von richtofen personn too "kind",too "human" or "sensitive"in the movie.even if the ww1 air war was full of chivalry,the fact is that the red baron was a cold killer,he shot to kill the pilot with no mercy or pity.a real prussian soldier.
but this movie stay very good i must say and i find better than flyboy.

for the top gun game...mmm...hope it will be better than the psn top gun game actually on the psn store...if no...stop ps3 and i will buy a nintendo ds...lol

I'll have to see what the reviews are like and hopefully a demo is released. Doesn't come out until sometime next spring so we got a while.

Agreed. Don't support this company. They are about as lousy as it gets and are the reason the xbox side never got a patch. So glad they were excluded from Birds of Steel.

Also agreed. The Red Baron was a great movie. Way better than Fly Boys and I liked it too.
