With no news at all about the American release and no updates or fixes could this mean that they have given up? Could it be that they are just squeezing the last few drops of cash out of the game before turning the lights out. I really hope not, but this as to be the most terrible descision ever to release a game that is so badly broken (again).

Yes they can DL now and yes they will have the same issues as us but im confident later today they will release a patch so that everyones game is patched with the sound issues being the main fix

Every patch so far has been announced a week in advance by Luthier, you really think the most important patch so far is coming out with no fanfare or post from Luthier?

One could argue... would they release this game with the same issues as us after all this time?

I doubt they would open that can of worms

For a US release it has been a little quiet hasn't it. God knows what they are up to. Still the day isn't over yet.:)

Official US Steam release is still quite a few hours away. However its doubtful to think a new patch will be instantly available as soon as the US launch rolls around. I thought it normally took a few days to get an update through Steam before it goes live.

Didn't Luthier say, a while ago, something about a patch being released the same time as the US release, or very close to it? (what "close to" means i leave up to u others to speculate on)

Im telling yer guys..when Steam opens its doors it will come with a patch..ive got a feeling in my bone....bones i mean

wouldnt it be funny if today without telling us they gave us the ultimate patch that actually brought the whole game together into a working superb sim. yeah iam a dreamer. Miracles do not exist., but fingers crossed lol.

i would not count 100% on what the developers said in the past.............
there can be a patch , there can be none today with US release - we will see.

If this would have been the last post from them they would look better (combed, room tidied up, on screen some MS-Excel stuff (with wide reddened parts in it)) and much more like professionals who are on the jump to just another oh so exciting challenge in the software industries. :grin::grin::grin:

I suppose they could have given up, but its not likely just yet. If that was the plan they never would have had two releases. BUT we all know its not a perfect world so plans change if sales are poor, or coding untenable. With all the bugs and unfinished features it also unlikely they would have many of them fixed before the US release. It was a terrible decision to release the sim unfinished, but it was a much better decision than canning the sim entirely. Atleast this decision makes it possible that the sim could be finished.

Last one out please turn off the lights...

The A-1 skyraider flew in Korea war. The Korea war also hosted P-51 mustangs, which also flew in ww 2. The p-51's adversaries in ww2 is the Bf-109, which the early models served as escorts in BoB

You do realise that trolling is a way of fishing by tangling your line behind the boat, its not the creatures that live under the bridge, I doubt little kids came up with this term.

I've noticed a lot of people misuse the term 'troll' simply when they don't agree with a statement. OP's statement was fair if you ask me.

You know I must have been half asleep actually fully asleep when I said trolling is fishing, you are dead right its trawling for fishing, DOH!, but as far as I understand it, that is where the term troll is from, a quick wiki search (so it may or may not be correct) mentions "The verb troll originates from Old French troller, a hunting term."

I think this quote from a site called UrbanBaby somes it up pretty well though,
