Fraps - revisted!!
I know we have had this discussion before, but as anyone actually got a fix for this since Luthier and crew screwed it up, I have tried everything that was suggested in the previous thread but none of them worked, have we heard anything from Luthier on how he's going to put this right?
|
The thread was moved (to Technical) but not sure if you checked it recently. The solution that appears to work is to install an earlier version of Fraps. More details in the thread. I (and others) now have it working perfectly well (and in full screen) using the earlier version (available on various sites).

Na , I havent , ive gone back to the beta version which I prefer anyway cos the aircraft skins are more dynamically shaded , looks as though now all the fuss has died down a bit they've gone back to making false promises and giving the finger.

Not wanting to take Tree's thunder away from him but I'd just like to point out that its not Luthier's responsibility to make CoD compatible with FRAPS, it's actually the other way round. The problem is that CoD is not yet stable enough where the FRAPS developers can say "Yep .. this is version of CoD we're going to build on."
The joys of software development  |
