Have posted it above, but I`ll paste it in here too:
snip: I haven`t tested in a while (read: the last patch). Low fps over industrial areas seems to be fixed. Around 30 to 40 fps over the city in the German channel free flight. However I noticed, when buildings are set to unlimited, groups of buildings are popping in and out, doesn`t happen when set to high. Can`t set convergence and fuel load either. Even with the fps being okay, the game still stutters. |

Important:
Like previously mentioned, singleplayer loadouts non-working, but skin selection and weathering does. Bugs: -Completely removed the ambient reflections on aircraft (e.g no lit borders on fuselage etc to represent ambient light being reflected on the aircraft paint). Even matte camouflage paint does this if viewed from the right angle. -The german prop-pitch is now at a better degrees/second rate, but the slider is still reversed in comparison to the majority of other planes. (tested in 110 and 109). Requests: -If the sound can be temporarily fixed to NOT disappear in MP like so many constantly complain about, it would greatly improve my forum experience. -Spreading aircraft fires can cause fuel-tank fires (the medium sized flames that stretch like 10 meters behind the fuel tank). It would be nice to see the fuel tanks actually catching fire if the fire spreads to them. -Re-implementation of PARTS of the exhaust stack effects to other/AI aircraft. I know this is resource heavy, but what about ONLY introducing the piston misfire effect due to engine damage? That would be a nice indication that the enemy's engine is struggling, and would only require the resources of rendering damaged engines, not ALL engines. Those points would make us all happy I think :) |

Channel Map - coordinates 188,35 - 62,7 There is a small glitch in the landscape at the coordinates (to the northeast of the crossroads north of Lillebonne), like a step in the landscape running roughly north/south. It's not tall, maybe 50cm but it causes vehicles to bounce and disappear. It's barely visible but when playing with the FMB I happened to stumble across it. Requests: 1.) Remove 8-vehicle limit from custom columns. It's pointless and can be circumvented by editing the mission file with an editor, anyway. 2.) Allow user-defined spacing for columns (i.e. 10m, 50, 100m etc). Allow for user-defined speed for columns (that would greatly harmonize columns and allow for combination of several columns). 3.) Add "space" object to insert into column so the user can define a larger gap between certain parts of a column. Make the gap either user-defined with certain values or add several "space" objects with different gaps (i.e. 10m, 50, 100m etc). 4.) Fix detection range by ground AI and give weapons their true historical range (specifically the german howitzer which had a range of 10,675km). 5.) Add "target area" box and allow artillery to specifically target this area via the "Assign Target" button. This way artillery can shell distant targets without needing a direct line of sight. |

Every so often my plane freezes in midair. The game continues around me but its like I just flew in to an invisible spider web and am sort of just hanging there LOL.
Flying a 109 in a downloaded single player campaign mission. It seems (possibly) linked to firing the cannon. I have a saitek x52 so my machine guns and cannon are both mapped to the main trigger..push half way for cannons, push full trigger for both guns and cannon. Both times it has happened, I was firing a burst of the guns and then pushed the trigger all the way down to finish a Spitfire off with the cannon and... bang, spider bait. :) Never had this happen before. cheers :) |

Random game crash.
Flying along and chose to hit Escape to go to the menu. Game window closed and I was left with the Game Icon on the task-bar showing it was still running. Clicked the Icon and the game launched again from the Ubisoft Logo and I lost all progress in the mission. Same happened again another time and I had to close the Luancher32.exe in System Process I still get a stepping effect in frame-rates as though the game is running then pauses for a frame approx every second (Vsync is enabled). I think this is the 'micro stutter' issue? Game pauses when an aircraft hits the sea for about 1/2 a second Rear Mirror in Spitfire is just a blocky blurry mess with no detail and pointless to have enabled No AA (still) Can someone post a picture or video of what the propeller should look like? Mine looks like a very sharp bladed thin triangle when in motion not a blurry disk....is this correct? Currently my only enjoyment is the incredible damage model, lighting and cockpits. Terrain pop-up is an immersion killer and erratic frame-rates are disappointing. The Multiplayer Map bug is still there. This is a show stopper bug, for those that have it. We cannot click on an airfield, the graphics on the Map are misaligned ? You can click all over the map, but can never select an airfield and therefore an aircraft. So we cannot use Multiplayer in Cliffs of Dover.

Spitfire 1 & 1a still fly like an overweight milkfloat at the end of a marathon.
Map border is HIDEOUS and must be changed. |

This rendering problem was NOT there in the first couple of patches, but now it's been like this in at least 3 last versions. You can't really play when it looks like this. I've tried changing video settings but it seems to happen no matter which values I use. WinXP SP3, Q6600, ATI 6950 2GB. ------------------------------------ I managed to get rid of this bug. It seems it was somehow caused by old config files, see more info here: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/newrepl...reply&p=302349 ------------------------------------ It seems it was not just about old config files, as the problem returned after playing the game for a while. But after installing latest ATI drivers from mid June, I haven't seen this rendering problem anymore. So maybe gfx driver problem more than anything else. |

I wonder if any of you, guys, has found this problem (or bug?): when flying the Bf-109 (any of them) I can't extend the flaps with the assigned key (V), even though this key works perfectly in other planes.

The flaps in the 109 are operated via a wheel. This means you must hold down the key you assigned to flaps and it will take a considerable time to lower/raise completely.

micro studders
I Still have the micro studders even if the video settings are wound down to the lowest in the Black Death track .Luthier indicated that this fault could only be rectified by spending two months and going deep into the game code to rectify it.
This is the foundation the game is built on an for smooth running on whatever rig you run within the spec given & as long as the settings are tweaked to suit I am sure that at least It would have made the game playable for many more who purchased it . As the team were obviously aware of it at the initial release of the game it should have been worked on from day one of the release & should be given proirity NOW for those who find the game unplayable or irritating at present which is a lot of people.Many I know have either deleted it for now or are waiting to hear from friends who have it that it has been sorted . Once fixed even the rigs that run Clod well now will see one of the best improvements since the game was released. |
I thought they said they'd fixed the wingman commands? I can't even order my flight to attack any more!
Seriously starting to run out of patience with this XXXXXXX game. :( |

The entire command menu was broken before, now we got some of the commands working. What happens is that they removed the commands that are still undergoing fixing so that we don't spend time selecting them only for them to have no effect. In other words, the commands menu displays only what really works and not the entire list to avoid confusion, otherwise we'd have a series of threads to the tune of "my flight responds correctly to command X but ignores command Z". That's why we have missing commands currently. |

My ffb goes in and out more frequently. I am locking up much more often. Especially free hunt mission. This patch is a step back for me.. Before I could play at least one full mission before any crashes. I am getting launcher errors and crashes about three minutes into game. :(

I know you are tired of the ships already, but here it goes anyway.
Good points to report: 1. The Minensuchboot 35 is now listed as such. 2. It does actually fire its main weapons. Bugs still present. 1. The combined power of all guns (2x 10,5cm, 1x double 3,7cm and 2x single 2cm)of a Minensuchboot 35 with average gunners and a fire rate of 5 is not capable of reliably sinking a tanker while going along side it at 300m for 20 minutes! This is the state of the tanker after 20 minutes, still going at 20km/h! http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...en_mboot_1.jpg 2. Contrary, the tanker armed with the (that is the listed name) 3 inch 20 QWT MK.I can one shot the Minensuchboot. Additonally, in the chat window the cannon is listed as a 5 inch 20 QWT MK.I. Though the only 5 inch cannon mounted on armed merchants was the AMERICAN 5"/51 caliber gun. Hi all,
no more then 3 hours testing, but I noticed a general slight decrease in performance compared to previous version, CloD is less fluid and I experienced for very first time 1-2 seconds stutters every 10-15 mins of playing (I cleared the cache folder and .ini files before patching..). The very annoying thing is how at spawn the airplane with 'cold' cockpit and engine off is subject to wind breeze! It slide on the grass with a puff of wind!:mad: In campaign mode (attempted 4 first time since release) the most annoying thing is that u have to warm-up your engine on scramble take-off, while your squadron leader slam opens the throttle and take off. 'Pre warmed engine' option would be great. There would be much to say on 'slam open the throttle'....I never flown a warbird but I think when u unchains an 2000 Hp piston engine quickly opening the throttle should happens something very different from what is modelled in CloD. Very unsatisfied :(, I can't even get a feeling with CloD |
In settings Controls/View, there are always 2 settings for External View command. The other one cannot be deleted. Why?
Other double settings like Panview/PanLeft can be deleted, but External View cannot. Is this a bug??? ------------------- Maybe deleting those double settings isn't totally safe: I deleted several and now all my quick missions look as if it was midnight :) So totally dark. |

I was flying one of the quick missions. My Hurricane collided in air with an enemy fighter and the whole nose part of the plane fell down (see the screenshot). Despite this huge crash it seems no damage was done to the pilot. I could fly normally, like engine switched off.
I would think: -the pilot would be in pretty bad shape -controlling the plane with such huge and heavy (the engine) piece missing would be very difficult In a similar mid-air collision, but this time with my wingman, my Bf-109 lost its tail. You can see from screenshot's texts. I was expecting the plane to become unflyable, that it would just dive towards the ground. But instead I was able to control the plane pretty much normally: turn the plane horizontally and vertically. |

Problems of FPS and stuttering in areas with trees and special area of the French coast, I still have under performance when the mirror of the SPITFIRE or HURRICANE are view, appearance and disappearance of buildings in the French industrial zone, view profile propellers are invisible if there is a cloud in the background of the image.

when i 'm flying and choose other stations the trottle goes to idle position and i have to reset it again where i have it when i choose to fly a mission and choose the bombardier sight sometimes it shows nothing no numbers or anything just a cycle or i get a crash on my dekstop also what about the lego brown buildings over London i have everything on high and very high |

Until now, I didnt see any stutters. Get a small stutter now when planes spawn Fraps no longer works. noticed on online server, at front line where a lot of vehicles had been destroyed. If I use zoom view from cockpit to look at area, my frames drop from 40/50 down into teens. Also had my first crash / launcher error. 990x / G1.Assissin Mobo / 12 GB DDR3 / Win7 64 bit dual GTX 590s (running on single core) |
Retail patch DECREASED my fps by about 10%.
Now the prop on my Hurri stutters on external view. Launcher.exe disappeared from my Nvidia Control Panel. Gonna play with my conf.ini (again). American release may re-start the cold war unless the serious crap (SLI/SOUND) is fixed. Rant over. |
Not related to this patch, i believe.
Ju88 loadout, fuel max. is about 3270 liters -> that only works when there are tanks in the internal bomb-bays -> those tanks are missing in the load-out with their limitations. Now you can load max fuel and fill the bomb-bays with 28 x 50 kg bombs. |
The Multiplayer screen, the one with the two flags on top.
On the REPKA #islands server the server screen shows 12RED and 13BLUE players next to the respective flags, even if there is not a single person in the server. EDIT: and then the server crashed, launcher crashed etc etc. And reconnecting, everything was OK. DIREGARD THIS POST, SORRY ~S~ |
I am getting launcher.exe crashes almost every time I fly the quick mission "free flight". This odd crash seems to only be happening when performing a vertical dive towards the sea firing all the guns of my Bf 109 E3. :confused:

Had a strange bug today while flying online in the Ju-88, tried to use the bombsight and my game turned into a slideshow (1FPS every 5-10seconds), sound died simultaneously aswell. In 3rd person it was still flyable but FPS dropped steadily till a launcher.exe crash occured.

JU-88 startup sequence:
It seems that the JU88 cockpit has fuel cocks #3 -#8 which are selectable and can be switched on with the mouse but, are completely useless because you need to open cock #1 for the left engine and #2 for the right engine but they are not selectable on the cockpit and you can only open them setting keyboard keys. Done that with prime95, IntelBurnTest and Memtest86+ v4.20 during my last OC settings not long ago (+- 2 months). Will test memory again to see if I can find anything... I was suspicious of my HDD raid 0 configuration, although the drives seem to be ok, done some tests already. I'm also playing CoD Black Ops and the game is running flawless in max settings 4x AA. @jg27 mc a memory leak is a distinct possibility considering we had that in the beginning with the DED servers and a DED server is just the CORE of the game .

As for the rest of the fuel switches, these are part of the fuel delivery system. The Ju88 has a lot of different fuel tanks and configurations (like Robtek said, with optional ones in the bomb bays) but only one feeder tank per engine. What this means is that each engine only gets fuel from one tank and the fuel from the rest of the tanks need to be pumped into those feeder tanks first because they can't be pumped directly to the engine (they are connected in series). The extra switches are there to let the pilot control which tank will be pumped into the feeder tank first, or close one down in case of leaks, etc. That being said, i don't exactly know how it works so i just turn everything on :-P |
Everytime I fly online I get disconnected, along with my squad mates as the whole server goes down, we also suffer massive lag spikes yet our pings to the servers are good. Is this because we are going through Steam, or is game releated or just a badly setup server. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have yet to experience disconnection like that tree. I started flying online yesterday and have started to get bsod, I think the weather is pushing my CPU overclock over the safety margin... :(.

If you think your CPU is running hot restart the PC straight away and go into Bios that will give you your temps, but if the PC starts straight up its usually an indication that its not an heat issue, as normally the CPU has to cool down a wee bit before the PC will restart. Okay thanks for heads up good to hear its not a heat issue as the pc starts up straighty away. Last time it happened i grabbed the code it was a 124 number so apparently it's hardware related, I plan on running a memory test and checking the overclock stability tonight.
It is about time I reinstalled windows as well so I might do that first. |

Looks like I'm not the only one with this one - Launcher crashes within 10 seconds of starting. Sometimes it'll return back to desktop and other times it'll load the game (but can't actually play)

hi all again waited for patch seem to be not getting better,my game launcer keep saying it crashed,seem to be a ram loop problem in my pc were it doznt renew as when i finish a single mission and press esc ,it gose back to deck top and i cant get out of the window on the desk top,plus the piture on the deck top usely isnt there i get black screen ,if i press esc again back to the game but i want to finish ??it running abit smoother,but then it seem my ram is used up ,game starts to shutter,and because i cant get to exit game i end up haveing to press ctrl alt and del to close it down?? im loseing heart with this , even if to be renewed at a later date on the hope,that this patch with fix it.

Some issues with the current patch for me.
1. Luther said something about the terrain/water stipe issue being sorted ( not sure if he meant it was sorted in this patch , cause it isn't fixed for me ) he might have been talking about the next path though.. 2. In the Multiplayer Lobby of a server . The display of the current roster (ie where you select your side) does not always display. I had to quit the game and reconnect before the gui would display the roster correctly. 3. Multi engine controls (I only used the bf110 c4 and c7 ) 3.1 during several flights on one of the full real servers (at least CEM was enabled, cant be full real if the aircraft names are displayed) I would sometimes loose the ability to change my right engine's prop pitch ( I have right and left on separate switches ) , after some time around a 30-60 seconds it will start responding again, if you did not break her in a dive that is.. , this is a bit of an issue in a battle , the 110 is already quite sluggish to stick input, now you fry your engines cause the pitch simply wont change.. 3.2 during the same flights above The oil radiators closed by them selves although the joystick lever they are mapped to was not touched (in the full open position), just adjusting the lever a bit will open them instantaneously again. This happened several times during several flights. The water radiators that is mapped the a lever next to the oil did NOT display this behavior during any of the flights. I'm not 100% sure but 3.1 and 3.2 might be related seems to notice the oil radiator is closed usually while I struggle to get my right engine's prop pitch to comply with input. And sometimes it was only the right engine's oil radiator that was closed ( although I have BOTH engines mapped to the same lever ).. 4. Air craft dots (ie distant aircraft) display in front of terrain that is suppose to hide it.. Quite noticeable on the one online island map , when an aircraft fly behind one of the mountain the dot (plus the players name) would not get hidden by the terrain , instead the dot is rendered in front of the terrain ( seems like some zbuffer issue ) .. OS: Windows 7 64 HW: 8 core Map Pro VID: 4870 512Mb RAM: 48Gb Drivers: Latest Catalyst drivers. Most settings on to high except for textures ( set on LOW ) |

I started the RAF campaign again. Haven't played it for the last few patches, so I can't be sure the problem started with this one...
Every single mission is listed as a failure, no matter what happens. I can take off, stay with my group, shoot down four German bombers, then land back at Tangemere with my group, and the game tells me "Mission Failure." It didn't work that way the first time I played the campaign. |
I try my best to be positive.. but it is hard at that stage .. There are effects and some graphics that are border line .. it's still not ok imo.. I really ...really hope for the best but some things need to change..
The whole actual Gui remind me something from 1999 Microsoft CFS , over shy, over small , big txt , over framed , over use of shadows etc.. Do not be shy to show aircraft in big ( skinners will be happy ) and really ovoid the stamp effects of pictures and txt. On a serious note, I disagree with Tree here. Having thought about it, the bug threads are a deep resource that will eventually be useful regardless of whether they are being monitored right now. In the short term there are enough obvious bugs to fix without referring to them. |
After the last patch:
I still got freezes and this time much more, new problem for me is the game crashing, sound cut problem is still here and fps is lower then ever. |
