This has been on my wish list big time. Hate seeing British markings on German planes in present game.

You do not have to. Just do not select a German plane when playing for British side if you do not want to ;) Change side instead by clicking other side's pilot icon if you are talking about Quick Missions.

The only occasion where you are unable to change nationality of aircraft from allied is in the quick mission/Free Flight missions where there is no opposition aircraft selection.

Well done! you just wonder though why the devs just didnt make this from the start!?
