Game disappeared from STEAM game list!
Well the issue I've got now is quite bizarre. IL2 COD disappeared from my STEAM game list, can't find a track of it in STEAM at all. Double click on IL2 COD icon takes me to STEAM store. Re-activation doesn't work. Clearing ClientRegistry.blob doesn't work. Contacted STEAM - waiting for reply:-x
I've got retail DVD version - if it helps. Any idea - anyone? |
Are the CloD files on still on your PC.
Assuming they are.. start steam and launch the game from the CloD launcher.exe direct. |
I can run ClOD like that MTommy, but can't download any patches since STEAM lost track of my installation.

Werid.. have you tried reinstalling steam? (backup your game files 1st)
Apart from that you'll probably have to wait for a reply from Steam. EDIT: have you tried to re add it to steam.. there is an option to add games.. |
I'll wait couple more days for STEAM to reply before reinstalling it.

Just to add more frustrating news - when COD started with launcher.exe both TRACK IR and joystick are not recognized in game anymore. Still no answer from STEAM support. Total crap... :-(

I've had similar: Steam Message "we've come up empty". No trace of COD.in Steam library. Steam have replied to my enquiry. I have to send them photos of the game box both inside & out as well as the leaflet with the rego. number before they'll help. All that when I'm supposed to be registered with them. No more STEAM-dependent sims for me!

No Matty - problem persists. I tried to send them photographic proof of ownership as requested but got no acknowledgement. Same message shows up every time. I've been frozen out for about 10 days now! I seem to have run out of options.

in my experience with Steam support they suck bigtime.

Emailed photo of my cd key + other numbers to them as well. It has been two weeks now. Have you tried to reinstall STEAM or ClOD?

Reinstalled Steam and tried to reinstall ClOD as well - unfortunately got Duplicate Product Code message so no go. Steam apparently needs more time to investigate further...tbc...

Finally - Clod is available again. Still wandering what has actually happened - STEAM support didn't offer any explanation. Glad it's all sorted now though.

What a drama! Glad it was eventually sorted out for you. Events like this can't be good for their reputation!
