cannot center Track Ir anymore!?
 

hey guys!after the hotfix patch,and after i enabled cloud synchronization,i cannot center my Trackir anymore.
i looked into my control settings,if something could conflict my F12 button, but nothing was assigned on F12,so i dont know what is causing the problem.

anybody experienced the same?any solutions?:confused:

Does it work in the trackir gui?

Also, In trackir soft i think there is a checkbox for using a key in exclusive. Check if that solves your problem.

yes it works normally in my trackir software so that is not the problem.that was the first thing i checked.

And locking F12 in exclusiv in trackir doesn't work either?

I have the same problem with cloud checked, I need to look slightly left before 'centering' with F12, gets a pain in a D/F

do you mean, to click on exclusive button in my il2 profile???because i always have checked that button.

Then disable the damned tihing "cloud" until the next patch if it is needed again. I am gonna get rid of it as we speak.

It also reduced my CTD's as well once disabled??

well it doesnt fix it for me.i can have cloud sync disabled but still no centering with my trackir.but i have to confess that i did an complete new installation of my game,to be sure that nothing is corrupt.

I have TrackIr 4 and F12 is working for me with the latest hotfix. :confused:

Do you have the Steam community/cloud features enabled by any chance? I don't know which setting gives you the ability to snap screenshots from within steam but the default steam screenshot key is F12, the same as the center key for trackIR.

I never used it, but it was on and set to F12. :confused: I turned it off - just in case...

Steam starts at boot time, I start TrackIr manually before the game. Sequence issue?

No, I dont mean that, if you refer to the option of loading always the same profile.

I refer to a check box, in the place where you assign the hotkeys, that reads: "trap"

This will lock any other app form taking control of that hotkey

well thx for the advice,but unfortunately it deosnt work either.i have always checked trap as well.
and to blackdog....i looked into steam for the button which is for screenshots,but i recognized that i have set it to "none".

i really dont know what happened and im pretty helpless right now. it always worked and i didnt change anything regarding the controls in clod or in track ir neither in steam....i mean i can center it before enter the game,but thats not convinient,because after a couple of minutes of flying, i almost have to break my neck to have a sight on the crosshair.

this thing happens with computers :)

im pretty sure is an easy thing to fix.

Please, start a new profile in trackir and try. Is only to discard possible corruption of your actual profile.

yeah i think you are right!
some minutes ago my game crashed completely.i couldnt even get back to tesktop with task manager.so i had to reboot my pc cold.
the good thing though is,that suddenly my track ir works as it should while playing again.strange :grin:
