No Mouse Showing Up?
Hi all,
Recently reinstalled IL-2 1946 and patched all the way to 4.12.2 and wanted to get to fly some. I'm currently have an issue of no mouse showing up. System is running on windows 7 and I have no issues with anything else but IL-2 1946. Any suggestions? EDIT: I found the mouse and it keeps moving to one corner of the screen for some reason and if I do full screen, the view is skewed with only part of it showing (top left quarter of the screen). Cheers, Eagle |
Put a lower resolution on conf.ini, like 1024x768, and tell me what happens.

Same issue. I did it window mode as well just to see what would happen. Same result, mouse moves to the lower right hand of the screen.

Hi
Please post your conf.ini file contents. |

Maybe diagnose the mouse. Unplug it, select the shortcut and start the game by pressing enter, see what happens.
But I think the mouse is being chased by a cat. Make sure the cat isn't around and the mouse should be in your control. |

Thanks all for the help, I really appreciate it. Cheers, Eagle |
looking at the conf.ini further It looks like somethings not right your missing some entries so it could be a corrupted installation.
You can try mine but the game files themselves could be corrupted as well. Code:

before you go reisntalling check this thread:
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=229015 You are running win7, but maybe there was a patch involved, or an application that generates this desktop benefit and that is what is bugging you. It is very fast to check it out. More than reinstalling the game. |

Got the screen resolution working now. Thank you everyone for the help and making it so that I didn't need to do a full reinstall. Cheers, Eagle |
