[REQ] FMB / Campaigns / Missions / Scripting subforum NEEDED
 

Dear admins

We REALLY need a subforum centered around FMB/scripting/missions/campaigns, pretty please.

At this moment, is very annoying to search through the all the subforums for every relevant piece of information related with the FMB, and this is one of the reasons the progress is kinda slow.

Also, if not offered in here, I'm sure the missions designers community part of us will have move and stick with other forums, and that would be a shame, and a thing you wouldn't really want to happen.

So, please, a FMB subforum..

Just adding my +1 to this thread.

Really really helpful if a FMB forum section would be made.

I'm willing to help with the compiling of guides/FAQ's for the FMB etc, just send me a PM, I will contact authors to obtain permission prior to publishing any guides which will be made available in a knowledge base/Wiki format. Together we could build a useful resource, concentrating information in one place will aid usability and promote development of missions and campaigns.

Excellent idea and much needed given the lack of Missions and Campaigns for the Single Player enthusiast who is a bit perplexed with FMB. Gets my vote!

like ARMA2 and not search the whole forum for a little piece of information.

+1 to the need for a new FMB/Missions/Campaigns section!

While other things are being ironed out - the Mission/Campaign builders could be working on masterpieces much more efficiently if that section existed.

While a little OT - the skinners need/will need their own section too.

Something as important as this needs a stickie or sub forum
It seems alot of stuf gets stickied, like the vids vids vids, Why?

I hope moderators at 1C see the benefit of dedicated forums dealing with creative content. It is something we have done at M4T for some time.

However, I've added a new forum to our IL-2 Developers forums, Full Mission Builders design and discussion forum
Content of the forum may be used to create a knowledge base/wiki, we also have downloads facilities which can used to make files available to a group of beta testers or to the community at large. We offer more flexibility than a pure forum and hope you will take advantage of what we offer.

There is a similar section for skinners. Very few posts right now but once the ball starts rolling great things can happen

I'd have to agree this would be a good idea.

We need the content the FMB addicts provide, and they need any and all encouragement.

I'd be nice to see new missions / campaigns included in a steam patch at some point.

I have a shitload of questions and nowhere post them. So would you please make a subforum for the FMB?

A very good idea! Not only would it be nice for us, it could be a great help to the developers putting together proper and understandable documentation as well. A well organized mission builder sub-community would also benefit the developers by helping filling in the currently lacking mission content. Indeed, the developers could use the very best missions in future releases with the permissionon of the mission builders, thus help promote sale.

A mission builders forum would benefit all, mission-builders, general players, dev. team and 1C/UBI.

I'll keep banging the drum :)

I will keep sourcing material from these forums and build the knowledge base, it will help if some of the experienced members here would also contribute. A post in the forum is enough, I can do the article and include any screenshots or other aids (perhaps youtube based guides for FMB)

I agree we need a mission forum. I would like to know more about how the skins and weathering work in FMB. I can get a few planes to show skins and weathering but not all.

I think we'll need a skinning forum too eventually.
