Biggin Hill on GE
 

Some of you probably already know about this but I only just discovered it.

Google Map's shot of Biggin Hill seems to have captured an airshow that day. Lots of warbirds and other great aircraft.

Is it jsut me or there are really no hangars in game at Biggin Hill?

none at all, which is dissapointing, considering it was a major fighter base

Looks like 3 spits near the runway and 1 spit 2 huri's near the hanger
Plus the one on the right looks like it has the white stripes on the wings

And if you look over towards the upper right near the woods look at all them planes cramed in there lol, now thats what i call parking

Nice having the Red Arrows on the runway. I wonder if they took the photo's on that specific date because there was an airshow or if it was coincidence.

There are only 8 red jets on the runway. It looks like someone missed the show.

Maybe it was lady red.....needed more time to get ready :grin:

They should have told her the satellite was taking a team picture.

Can anyone ID the 2 aircraft at the left end of the warbird lineup. The rest look like Spits and Hurris, but I can't tell what the last 2 are.

they do look like 109's

It looks like two different types. One is probably a 109, but I don't think both are.

Maybe the shorter one is a 190?

I see a Bf109 and a Fw 190 too. The rest Spits and Hurris.

Ahhhh! its a 108 and a Buchon on the end.

Can someone post aerial pics of Hornchurch airfield in the game?

I wonder how they modelled it, as I struggle to find wartime pics of my local field.

I hope someone with good FMB skills puts together a nice Biggin Hill set up for us with some moving vehicles and lots of detail.
