MD_Titus 04-04-2011 02:53 PM

Oh that looks brilliant

Came out in 08. From the quick look see I did it's only a ten minute short film. I looked on You Tube hoping the full version would be on. BAH!

EDIT: When will we play games like this? When Oleg completes the Oleg Engine (tm) and has us defending our own air bases and running for cover from our downed air craft.

or did you mean quality? ;)

Wow, thanks for the heads up. Definitely going to watch that movie :)

Tracers don't look good. They start falling after 300 ft!

I would sack the guy in the continuity department for using the wrong type of fields! you don’t have 24m tramlines in wheat fields etc from the 40’s, 50’s or 60’s as agricultural sprayers just weren’t big enough do that then :-P

Here you are..I edited the convention one down.

You just loaded this up for us now, Richie? Thanks man. I couldn't come up with any video links on GoOgLe except for the one already listed above, and a small preview on VIMEO.

Robert 04-04-2011 04:43 PM

Nice. I liked it. I won't say more so as not to give anything away. Nice.

The movies ok...but most of it takes place in the woods. The aerial combat is just at the beginning.

I have to admit, when I bought this game, and because it was/is is development for such a long time, I was expecting graphics akin to the History Channel's 'Dog Fights'

Hey ho....

I edited it out of a 50 minute convention video a few days ago. I saw your post and went over to my youtube vids and posted it up. :)

I think the game looks a LOT better than History Channel's 'Dog Fights'

I posted this fact up an age ago but unfortunately the devs ignored it. The COD fields are also full of modern day tramlines which were never seen in the 40s. Not a biggy in the grand scheme of things but nice to get right one day.

For those interested, all the info you require on this modern method is here:

"The German", eh? Hehe. "Stell die Pischtole weg" Besides, no German would have been caught dead with a haircut like that in 1940, let alone passed muster.
