..Screen Shot Art..
Time to get some pic's hanging at the new place....I can't take credit for this, but I have alway's liked it. In 2 weeks I will post my own Bob shots :P
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...l/PCG171-2.jpg |
Just noticed... did they forget to reduce the muzzle flashes in BoB again
I sure hope not... :? |
My first post at this new fantastic forum. Glad I found it :D Looking forward to communicating directly with the people behind 1C..
JG52Karaya: Oleg has allready answered your question. In an video interview by a guy call mysticpuma Oleg says, that the effects are only temporary placeholders from the Il-2 game as the effect for SOW:BOB was not ready at the time. I believe that this picture was taken in the same period as the interview, so the muzzle flash is from Il-2 and not the final SOW:BOB effect 8) Hope this answers your question allright.. Regards Henrik PS: I like the colours of this forum. My new favorit colour is yellow :D And here is a nother picture from the same bunch as the first one: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...r/PCG171-5.jpg |
LOL is that a 109 on its back (down visible in the cockpit window)
Must be bored alright that fella :o |

I think the plane is either a spitfire or a hurricane given the colour of the upper fuselage and the fact that the engine is not yellow.
I think he is going into the water and getting a belly full of the channel  Here another picture: http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ger/PCG171.jpg |
We should have a sticky thread devoted to just SoW pictures
|
Here's another one.
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...Ju-88A-1_1.jpg |
Why don't I just put the link to the photo album that one fellow has for BoB screenies.
http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...anger/?start=0 |
maybe these old pics will seed the thread for the devs. to post new???
I'm starving for new BoB images  :!: |
I have to say I haven't really been paying much attention to BoB stuff as real info has been so little and so rare. Everything posted at the 'zoo and elsewhere seems to be a lot of guesswork and wishful thinking.
But looking at these models, I'm getting a little worked up. I wonder (In my dreams  ) if a pre-release of the models could be arranged for those of us with a yen for skinning? C'mon 1C. Please, please, please |
A bump to get ahead of the locked one's
|
Those are some sweet looking trees.

8) Those are some nice shot's Monty..... :D..........I hope some more IL2 shot's are posted before the release of Bob
|
:) nice pics guys............
I loved BoB SOW ones :D |

Schuetz, ist das Water=2 mit einer ATI?
|
Hi Foobar
To Schueltz
Well, this forum is english speaking. Also schreiben Sie in Englisch. |
There are more people german speaking than I thought... ;)
|
Some more screenies from my collection:
http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...one/247072.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...arrierOps1.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...e/Variety1.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...Shooter707.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...alone/P404.jpg ...hundreds more, nice comments will motivate me to post... |
Very nice!.....are you motivated
:D I love that first pic :D |
Maybe if you add a few 'smiley' emoticons, SlipBall... :D
I'm gonna start posting a few each day until I've posted the whole bunch...prob'ly enough for around a month, haha! Going to work now, though, pop back tomorrow! |
Well, it's a nice idea to post a few of your great screenshots everyday! And I think you'll get a lot of smilies! Here is the first bunch of them :D :) :D
|
Some of these shots look great but could we limit the size of them to some kind of standard size....
|
Quite a few of my shots have been cropped slightly in the vertical - can't undo that, unfortunately, but any advice onhow to 'standardise' the size would be most welcome.. :)
My screenies are all taken in 1600 x 1200 res, for what it's worth. |
In photobucket you can determine the size of the uploaded pic, say 800x600, 1024x768 etc so when you upload to a site they are a uniformed size.
|
'K, thanks Chris
Would you recommend a best/most popular size - 1024x768, maybe? :?: |
Quite a few forums prefer 800x600 to help 56k users, however I think 1024x768 allows proper viewing of screens.
All mine are 1600x1200, reduced for viewing, however, if you are going to post larger screens it helps to place a warning along the lines of *Big Pics* or *56k warning* to prepare peeps. It might be worth asking the site mods what the prefered option is, then we have a standard to work with. There is nothing in the forum rules so at the moment its free and easy. |
Right, thanks for that info, Chris.
Maybe Evgeny will stop in shortly and give us a preferred size, otherwise I'll do the rest at 1024 x 768. Cheers |
Two for today:
(All screenies taken in 1600 x 1200 res - sized @ 1024 x 768) http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...Shooter110.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...Shooter145.jpg more to come... |
Mossie...
http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...0x600_Aged.jpg Ship attack... This is maybe not the right place for this pic? If so, sorry about that... |
It's the right place, DB, no worries...
Could also post on the iL2 Art thread, if you like.. :D |
Thanks BigBossMalone!
Wasn't sure... In the 'art section' i posted also some pics. |

A few Corsair screens from my collection.
|
Well I vote for 1024x768 for the forum pages but attach links to larger versions, what do you guys think?
|
That desert camo dressed Ju 87 is brilliant. I love that piccy.
Is it me or is that sharkmouthed P 40 looking a bit scared? Know what I've not seen in all my 5 years of IL2. The Ju 87 dressed with the snake along it's fuselage. I built the model as a kid, but never saw it executed in IL2. Any screeneis if that bird? |
The hanger spawn is the SCHNITZEL, what ever that is
