The Convair XB-36 isn't going to be in Il-2, I'm sure.
But, wow. That's just an idiotic large plane. I would like to see an I-16 next to it :P It's a tiny dot compared to the Convair! |

That's an EB-29. Goblin never flew with Convair as a host, but it sure would look even tinier there.

I always have laugh when I see a picture of the Goblin, in a good way though:) I have a passion for early jet fighters, like the Migs Sabres and the goblin all beautiful;)

This project dates back to 1943 and is part of an RAF brief for a 'super bomber' with long range, adequate defensive armament and large bomb-load. The Type 'C' as the name suggests is one of several developments by Vickers in response to this brief (there were many other design from other leading aircraft manufacturers). However, it soon became apparent that at least five years would be needed to fully develop aircraft of this complexity and versatility. Coupled with the success of the Avro Lancaster and advent of practical jet propulsion made this (and the other proposals) redundant.
Span: 64.0m (210' 0") Length: 29.0m (95' 0") Max. Speed: 621 km/h (382 mph) http://www.xplanes3d.com/Projects/Vi.../vic_c_06.html http://www.xplanes3d.com/Projects/Vi..._C_Scene_1.jpg |

I have never seen this one before. It has a nice design and I really like it. |
honestly if they're going to be adding more heavy bombers, they should really start off with the ones that actually saw combat, like the He 177, the Stirling, the Lancaster, and others. I'd especially like to see the He177 Grief, that was an interesting plane

Although not extensively used during WWII but serving as a troop transport plane the constellation would be my choice... Most beautiful bird around in the heavy class. Anyone enough time on their hands? :-P
