I've been checking every 10 minutes lol! I need to learn how to be patient... It's just too exciting i guess :)

haha, that's true, but i have to say that i was honestly thinking that there would be something today because of the update-wishlist Nearmiss posted;)

Oleg sent me a PM saying that they are not going to be doing a Friday update today. The game is being revamped and is going in a new directing after all of the community input they have been getting.

Cliffs of Dover (keeping the new name) will now be a Grass,Wave, and Cloud simulator. Players will have the ability to sit in a stationary location and nitpick the terrain and clouds, but not engage in any flying or fighting since that didn't seem to be as important to most of the posters here.

Next week you'll get the chance to see their "Invasive species" update with all the new non-indiginous species of plants in England and Northern france. I'm really excited to see the poly-count on the Russian Thistle and the Crabgrass!

No more updates as Oleg and team spend their time playing the game :-)

LOL, and it's not something I just write - I'm lauging loud at the train station and people look at me a bit scared :)

Cliffs of Dover is alright, but I'm more interested in their next product.

Airfield Downtime: Invasion of Moscow

You get to play as a Luftwaffe or Red Airforce Pilot who sits around the hangar looking at snow squalls and your comrads and ground crew shoveling snow and lighting fires under aircraft engines to keep the oil from freezing.

After that . . . Rain Delay: Korean War

Similar to the Moscow addition, but rain and you get to see your fellow pilots (US) stuck on the toilet for hours after trying Kimchee for the first time. North Korean/Chinese pilots are stuck squatting over their dugout toilets with severe cramps after trying captured American SPAM rations for the first time.

Rumour has it the Vietnam add-on (Q1, 2012) has your bedridden in a barraks hospital with a really bad venereal disease.

The pilot is too far down in the seat :-(

The red on the roundels is too orange imo. And the water is too clear.

and the lighthouse looks crap, it's not even DX11? DX11 has lighthouse rendering acceleration, FFS this new graphics card I bought is useless.

The pilot is wearing modern sunglasses or something, and the paint on the plane looks as if it's fresh out of the factory!! :mrgreen::roll:

and the green doesn't really look like Britain at all! :D

There's no tesselation?! they promised me DirectX 11 support on release day! I'm not buying this game especially if it doesn't show some extra performance when being run on my HAL 3467 PC with quadruple crossfire/SLI 1580GTX card. If it's not running at least 450 FPS on my rig at max settings, I'm not shelling out!

Still nothing.................i bet it's cancelled!:-P

Not sure how your going to find out how good it runs on your Hal supercomputer if you dont buy the game. Maybe you could simulate the sim :)

Simulate the game? Phfft! With my computer I can simulate the whole development team of Maddox Games where they will make a superior version of the game just for me.
