Last I head there was a fire at their new offices and all traces of the SOW code were destroyed! Luckily everyone was unharmed, but the game and all backups were lost forever!

Last week in a Russian Aviation Magazine Oleg mentionned that this friday's update would be a 20 minute video with high resolution rendering with all the new clouds , terrain, smoke and explosions FX , plus surprises about the secret 12 flyable planes nobody knows about yet , plus the new feature called :
DYOP or " Dress Your Own Pilot" :grin:

LOL, we need an extra forum for those who lurk around waiting for the friday update. This could be some sort of pub... Anyway that forum needs several subfora, one being specifically for those who piss their pants because the update has not been posted yet. All threads should be deleted weekly.

Maybe he was annoyed by last week's comments?

I mean, he was told that the fmb sucked, looked totally out of date, and needed a complete redesign.....and that the map wasn't big enough, didn't extend far enough north, didn't show enough of europe to include the italian airbases....and oh yeah - the towns were too big - a ludicrous error by the way that even a modicum of competent research should have uncovered.

Nothing to piss him off too much then...

No I have it on good authority that due to the British moaning and crying over the football world cup 2018 that the Kremlin have taken over the offices and are removing all British aircraft and airfields from the game.

Hes also NOT our parent and doesnt need to listen to all the biching about every little minute detail, "and then flip it over and do it again".

That could be so...what's in it for him ? What is sad, is that most of us are very positive about what he shows us every friday...The problem is with few negative comments that comes out of proportions...Every friday Oleg must justify,explain, re-explain what WIP is all about...That we MUST trust the fact that HE is much more picky than any of us ! He must be tired some times...:confused:

We should give the man a break and just enjoy the updates...For a while IMHO...

B) visiting southern england with a note pad and one of those wheels for measuring distance recharting the towns.
C)finishing an all nighter with the guys from wargamer.net who explained to him what the revenue stream potentials are from their beta that has half a million participants in an online tank game...
