Wish List Thread
How about a wish list thread where aircraft we would like to see as flyable could be listed.
I know some I would like to see are done to 3rd parties, but after a not so good experience of downloading a 3rd party aircraft, I would prefer that a company such a DT develope the aircraft. If we have to pay for aircraft, soch as ROF, then I am willing to do so. My wish list would contain...... HE 177, ME 410 DO 218 J 188 FI 156 Storch HE 115 FW 200 FW 189 AR 196 Lancaster Wellington B17 B29 |
Do you wish for the B-29 to be included in Storm of War Battle of Britain after release?
I think you should hold on to your wish list until further releases of the Storm of War series are in the pipe. |

Personally I would add the B26, the Short Sunderland, the Halifax and the PBY Catalina to that list. |
This tread is Bullshit ¡!!
(You need specific ate a conflict of ww2 in a lapse of time. You cannot only put name of aircraft you want. You need put like this: CONTINUATION WAR 1941-1942 WEST STRATEGIC BOMBING CAMPAIGN 1943-1944 MALTA BARBAROSSA OPERATION 1941 THE BLITZ sept 1940 - jul 1941 THE FLYING TIGERS THE BATTLE OF KURSK 1943 THE BATTLE OF FRANCE AND LOW COUNTRIES 1940 PACIFIC THEATERS 1943-1945 BATTLE OF STALINGRAD Jul 1942 – Feb 1943 BATTLE OF BERLIN 1945 And specificity the principal aircraft for each battle. |
According to the name of the threat:
Laetitia Casta, Davalos Twins, Lady Gaga on Harley Davidson, And more and more Beers... :-P |
If I could do a wish then the Bv 141.
|
THE BATTLE OF FRANCE AND LOW COUNTRIES 1940
French planes PACIFIC THEATERS 1943-1945 ki44 Shoki H8K2 But there are already so many planes to be happy about ;) |
I feel we have enough planes. I would like an increase in detail and some errors fixed (like the turbochargers and their (lack of) control on the P38/P47).
|
I would say first concentrate on the planes in the battle of France and Britain.

What an opening statement for a senior member. I'm sure there are a lot of flyers out there, like me, who would like to pit Aircraft A against Aircraft B to see if they can outfly & hopeful shoot down an aircraft without having to worry whether it is within the correct timescale or over the right area. when flying & trying to shhot down an enemy aircraft you're too busy concentrating on the aircraft to woory about what's beneath you, ie. land or sea. |
you not remember the important ITALIAN airplane start to navy

In regards to the Bv141it is a great looking oddity I'll agree and I even once started modelling it myself for FS a long time ago, I must admit I too would love to see it brought back to life in Il2/46, but when you really think about it why on earth would you want to be stuck doing right hand turns, granted the ability to this standing the right wing would be fun but could get a tad old after a while ;), it would however make an interestingly difficult target especially if the AI could be tuned to use that wicked turning agility as a defensive manoeuvre although the Fw189 also was capable of relatively tight turns as well but you do not see the AI using this to any advantage. Besides there are those other Vogt designs like the Bv138 and Bv222 and even the BV238 that also deserve an airing, come to think of it we need a Do18 and a Do24, and if is odd your after why not the Ar232? For me Luftwaffe wise: Ju88C/D/G Ju188 Ju388 Ju290 He177 Hs126 Hs123 Ar234C |
