Did I miss something or are you pulling our leg. Yes there is some SOW content there, but some of it is just like you say "Stuff" ..... that is not related to Olegs development.

All of the above is indicated to be BOB SOW.

Even the dog animation thing looks like a much improved IL2. They do indicate on their website BOB 2, but it sure doesn't have the look of the BOB II WOV. The sounds and the circles for sunspots in lieu of hexagons along with reflections.

Maybe some of our experts can ferret out the non-SOW stuff, and add something to the list.

I also enjoyed viewing the videos and thought I'd share them.

The fourth and fifth video I don't believe have any SOW content. The fourth video looks like footage from a movie. It would be great if the clouds in SOW are like those seen in the fourth video, but I don't believe the developers have shown much of their cloud work yet.

the 4th and 5th video's are complete fakes, posted as a hoax on youtube, bit of a worry to see them officially posted here in error

the 1e one contains mainly "non BoB" scenery at the beginning, if officially presented here as BoB work that is potentially misleading, and might/will be quote in the future as "why dont my game look like that, you pwomised whaaaaaa !!" to add quotes from oleg in text on top just doesnt seem right to me either. once posted here like that it is almost like an endorsement for the content to be legitimate

nice intention for sharing ww2 clips to get folks in the mood, but the current content of the clips and claimed SoW BoB source is a bit of a worry to say the least

If it is NOT SOW then it shouldn't be shown or even associated.People are in the mood to clasp at any straws and want to believe anything that looks like they expect it to be.
I hope it does,nt lead to false high hopes.
Nice videos though but just don't pass them off as SOW if they aren't.:)

I'm 98% sure that these videos are faked using proprietary art rendered by a company other than 1c/MG. They should probably be removed.

Why deliberately keep faked videos and information along side the legitimate stuff? Delete them. There is no need to live a lie.

This video was released by Oleg & Co, and is on the 1946 DVD. It's legit by all means.

The BOB SOW story has been going on for so long...

I think many of us have forgotten some of the first update releases.

It has indeed been going on a while, I was talking to a guy yesterday who said that he was introduced to Oleg in 2002 by Ian Boyce, he asked Oleg when he was going to introduce the Mk1 spit and Oleg replied, ah thats in my next project.

The FAKES should be removed...its bad to mislead people. We already have enough confusion here without people getting all worked up about "misleading video's" .

I can already hear the whining..."I saw the video posted on the web site, why doesn't someone come clean and admit its real".

OR

"Oleg lied to us about the up-dates...he has video's posted on the web site that aren't even real (bla-bla-bla).

Well, they'd have to be illieterate! :grin: As nearmiss stated that these are just a general mix of videos.
