Men of War Official Patch 1.17.5.1 Available (Updated).
 

1C Company and Best Way announced today that Men of War official patch version 1.17.5 is available for download in two variants: full patch (includes all previous patches) and cut patch (upgrades version 1.11.3 to 1.17.5).

The patch adds several multiplayer maps, fixes game balance together with several other impovements. Full list improvements and fixes can be found here.

important: beta patch 1.17.5 and official patch 1.17.5 arent compatible.

playing with official 1.17.5 on beta 1.17.5 game bring allways a "desynch".

why have incompatible patches same version number? :(

ok. i think final "western" full patch works with "russian" patch without "desynch".

important:
before patching the game (1.) deactivate all mods, (2.) delete all mods, (3.) delete all user made maps and (4.) delete all unofficial patches !!!

EDIT: last step dont work -> every 2nd game with western patch caused a "out of synch".

So, just to confirm, the western version of the 1.17.5 patch doesn't work with the international version?

I've been trying to play matches all evening, but I only manage to play through 1 in every 10. Every other time I get an "out of synch" error seconds into a match, same one as can be found here: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=14691

I have no mods or anything installed, as I rarely use them.

ive found a solution that work 100% (only for multiplayer) without any "out of synch" errors:

1. download Men of War game client (free of charge)

2. install game (choose other install location as y installed original MoW - when needed)

3. start game with with new shortcut "Men of War. Victory Day Edition"

4. use y original CD-Key

important: this solution is only allowed with legal copy of MoW and legal CD-Key for multiplayer.

this is huge disaster and worst MoW patch release by Best Way so far
also it seems Single Player is very buggy with latest patch ...

seriously 1.18.0 is needed (unify all game distributions and language versions, fix bugs)

is anyone able post MD5 / CRC32 hashes of pak files
to figure out what is causing the out-of-sync ...?

and how did we know that other player (joined my game) use this hotfix?
must we ask everyone "do y use hotfix or russian patch"? to start/play a game without lost player with "out of synch" error.

pls release one working patch for all version with extra versionsnumber (e.g. 1.18.6)

these patch + hotfix situation ruins multiplayer. :(

ok i been playing from yesterday with this 1.17.5.1 patch and i have no problem playing Multiplayer.

as for Singleplayer i didn't try but as for Multiplayer is working.

also one tip, if You publish any update or free games always include hash of the binary (or archive) either CRC32,MD5 or SHA-1
MD5 hash : daa7443289712cce3318ab255dd57644

that way you protect Your customers from fake downloads infested with some malware

ive uninstalled all existing versions to try and get a game then reistalled latest official patch now cant get a game in single or multiplayer. how long will this farce go on?.

I really hope that this "hotfix" works. Otherwise I get "out of Sync" a few seconds into each game.

This game is a MASTERPIECE and I want to continue playing it online!

I noticed that so many players ask for links for the new patch download in the game lobby, esp, guys who bought the game form Steam .

Hey i have a little problem, maybe someone can help me:

After the last Steamupdate for MoW yesterday i have the game in full english... at first it was in german.

But there is no chance to select german, it's only possible to choose english, spanish, italian and french but no german.

Any idea how i can fix that?

Or have i wait for a new patch again?

will this be automaticaly updated by steam because i havent been able to play multiplayer recently because steam hasnt done anything yet?

Hi guys:

I have a problem/BUG with this version. When I start campaign, in the first russian version, you have to kill a sdkfz (in the beginning) and when u kill him, your troops go to next part of the map. Ok the problem I have is that I kill the Sdkfz and I cant continue. The map doesnt enabled the other parts.

Check first russian map of their campaign. You have just started and a sdkfz come at your positions, you kill him and the map enabled, but............ with this new version, when you kill the sdkfz, you cant continue, the map doesnt enabled.

I can finish this mission in the standart version (1.02), but when I get this patch, and play this single mission (first in rus campaign), I have this problems.

I think it is a bug created by new version.

if i have installed Full patch 1.17.5.1, do i still need to use the patch hotfix, or has that been included in the patch since the initial 1.17.5 patch?

1c site for men of war patches is still down... also the links for men of war patches from official menofwar page is wrong, it has red tide there. Its a big mess someone should fix it.

All links should work now, also the links on official MoW site are fixed too.

I have problem with patch 1.17.5 from Cenega.
When I installed it, I don't have a subtitles in movies.
When I install only patch 1.11.3 (from Cenega site) everthing is ok.
What should I do?
