Help! Stuck at mission where I have to defend MSF station and viper must survive
Okay, I have yet to be able to prevent the station from being destroyed but I picked up Viper in a pod. Now I have no idea what to do!
If you saved the station, just look around, there are two or three Walruses (armed transports). They are yellow. Just shoot them and you can continue. Well at least that is what I did im my playthrough.
If I shoot the walrus', it says that i betrayed viper
Well that is strange. Some missions are really buggy as it seems. Then I would recommend replaying the mission using an earlier save.
just too weird. have tried restarted several times with the same result. i destroyed the admiral and now i am just flying around. i cannot figure how to prevent the base from being destroyed. other walrus' i shot result in my being swarmed by ships from hyperspace.
Well I failed to protect the base first time as well, which resulted in being stuck. However I reloaded and headed right to the northern portal, killed the admiral, just before he died he said continue with phase 2 or something like that, I killed all enemies, killed the remaining Walruses and mission finished.
Hmmmm. i will try that. I have been heading back to the base when the admiral appears.
this is so frustrating! I go to the northern gate right after the cutscene and noone is there. I usually find him at ag gate just east of the station.
this keeps getting wierder! i just ran into a trader loaded with a bunch of items that are free! oops! i thin i raided the base!
Well there must definitely be something wrong. I wish I could help more than to advice to try yet earlier savegame.
I finally got past it! you were right, there was a wlarus' that i had to destroy and then had to fend off the wave of ships. the good things is all the supplies i managed to get! thanks!

I am glad I could help :)
