Star Wolves 3 DELAYED
 

Hey everyone who is expecting the great game Star Wolves 3!!!

Post here how many times it´ll be Delayed again!!!:grin::grin::grin:

In my accounts it was delayed about 3 times before!!!!:(

And i think it´ll be delayed more 2 times!!!!;);)

Hopefully NONE!!!
But I think march 2nd is the final date...it was delayed from 19th feb so it doesn't hinder necrovision sales.

And to defend 1C a little,it NEVER had a definite date. iirc it had Q1/Q2/etc status most of the time.

But with all said,I'm hyped for this. :D

OK... it was delayed this time because of Necrovision.

But it had the release date of 19/02. So it had a rel date.;)

And the first date i remember that was annouced was on january...after that february 2.... february 19 and now mach 2....

Lets hope not be surprised...AGAIN!!!:evil::evil::evil:

SW3 is up for preorder on Steam as well, with March 2nd as its release date. That does raise the bar for whether or not another delay will be possible, at any rate. :)

but well see :) i boughed it cause i love the serie but i do not have my hopes up alot cause of the star wolves 2 failure

Seems it has bunch of bugs as I was afraid of(according to the reviews).
If we didn't get a patch for SW1 fixing the ending,then I'm skeptical about this one.

I've pre ordered this and love the SW series,but little more attention to the english version WOULD make a huge difference instead of hastily doing a poor translation,hiring crappy voice actors and not fixing the bugs.

Seriously 1C,ppl would buy more of your games if you could make the effort to support them and make them known for the public... :/

got it loved it played it ;) but star wolves is something diverent and more fun if its not that buggy

When i saw the pics in the reviews i could not believe it...

Is SW3:CW the same game as SW2:CW but translated????:confused::confused:

I played some time of SW2:CW in RUS.

And when i saw that the player flagship in SW3 is exacly the same of SW2 this doubt pop in my mind...

The name says exactly the opposite...Let me explain...
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare IS NOT exactly the same game as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2. Even with the same name.

My doubt is fi SW3:CW is EXACLTY the same game (same history, same ships, same quests, same universe) as SW2:CW with different name and other language.

I never saw it before... something must be different!!!!:!::!::!:

Star Wolves 3: The Civil war is THE SAME GAME as Star wolves 2: The Civil War,but in english.
What did you expect it to be? a sequel to the SW2:CW,when there was no english version of that...come on.

It's pretty logical...they made sequel to Star Wolves 2 named SW2: The Civil War. They decided to translate that to english,like with other SW games. But during the process the name was changed to Star Wolves 3: The Civil War.

well for me its hard to understand cause the ships and mothership look diverent then what i played with in star wolves 2

the mother ship looks the same from star wolves 1 though

Star Wolves 3 do not have any bugs form 1 and 2 parts of the game. It was even developed by another studio. It is full sequel and full length campaign and a lot of things changed since SW2.

And not all reviews are bad.

yeah, i'm getting a bit pissed here. the page says its aviable for purchase now, but still no go on installing it on steam

i hope you can give us an explenation that would improve 1c company alot ^_^ :p

and a second question (don't know if its right to post it here if not let me know)
there some issues with star wolves 1 and 2 as well (files disapearing wich causes the game not to work proper) i wrote steam about it but no fixes what so ever if you have a quicker link to talk to steam could you do it? and secondly why is star wolves 2 never patches for the eu? :s i hope the will atleast patch star wolves 3 then cause the game looks promishing!

I'll ask about SW and SW2.
The was only one patch for Russian version of SW2 and it was included in the international version. Unfortunately no more patches were available evefor Russian version.

We will definitely support SW3. Even now the first patch is included into the final release (the review version for press didn't have it).

thats very good to hear :D can't wait to finaly play it >.< so hope it comes "out" today on steam so i can download it and maby play it before the weekend

oww and still nothing >.< gess i go start and see if i can get star wolves 2 to work again lol and not take the pirate path

Hi all new poster here. Loved starwolves one SW2 lets not go there. Anyway anyone else havin probs with steam. One page says its out yet on my games it says not released. I pre ordered it so am a little peeved. :evil:

join the sad clients :( and star wolves 2 is kinda cool just don't pick pirate path doing uss path now and having fun ^_^

got both the earlier ones im just hoping this is what i hope it can be. As for steam i have been waiting for ages for this lol

guys, the problem might be rooted in the time difference - steam is us-based, so i hope there's just a little time for you to wait.

i wish that was true cause it would release yesterday (2e of march 9:00 pm netherlands time) it was moved to 1:00 am 3e of march and now its "released" on steam as you cannot pre pruches it but the game in my list is listed as "not yet released" .... so its sad

Guys, I received a reply from STEAM, according to technical maintenance the release was moved to 9 A.M. West Coast time today (I hope).
