hmm, no one knows that exactly... :(

Well, the target symbol is accuracy, the plane Icon is number of kills and the star icon is a complete mystery to everyone! (Level ie Level!)

spidercicc 01-20-2010 07:11 PM

the stars should be the points earned during the games online, I remain a mystery, the column with the gamepad as a symbol

Stinger is right. no one really knows. There cannot be a total number of kills column, otherwise MAGERVIN would have broken the system already. I don't think there is enough space in the column for his number of kills!!!!!!!!!!! I think level has something to do how many battles a player has been in. Can't be wins or very few of us would ever advance.

I look at it like this. The top 20 guys are otherworldy and damn good. The order just changes a little unless they stop playing. Then they'll drop. Everybody else is just good, or "experienced" enough to hold their own. Unless your name is Edal or MAGERVIN. In that case, you are a god, and in reality control everybody elses order..

I've always seen it as Level/Mission Points/Plane kills/Accuracy/Missions Played.

STINGERSIX78 01-21-2010 01:14 AM

and when u reached 200 missionpoints, u get the next level. ok, so far...

BUT ...
i didnt work. how often did i play strike and earned with the b17 more than 30 points. i must be level 1001... ^^

I think you are on to something, Stinger. Those points in a mission, I believe, are the key to the boards. I just pulled out a calculator and you might be right. Maybe somewhat low with the 200 points, though. The accuracy, I think is meaningless in figuring rank. It's just a stat. All the other stats are probably also meaningless. The points is what matters most. Whether your team wins or loses doesn't matter. Either a total point score, or an average+games played or something like that. That's why, when a player stops playing, he drops and others catch up to him. Anyway, like I said in another post, get those points! And don't die (which you are pretty good at in your K-4).

There is no point trying to figure out the leaderboards.

The only mode that seemed to actually add up your stars as you earned them in matches was capture airfields. But recently I've been dropping levels even with great landings and lots of stars.

In strike when I unlocked the b17 it took only two b17-rampages and I jumped 8 levels.

In dogfight and team battle you can completely slaughter a higher-ranked opponent and lose levels, and lose to a lower-ranked opponent and gain levels. Gaining and losing levels seems to go in streaks too, levels go up for a while then they go down for a while.

I don't think accuracy has anything to do with it, there are people with bad accuracy right at the top and good accuracy at level 10.

I am convinced that the developers actually are monitoring the games on the servers, and probably gambling on them too, and if you don't beat the spread, they punish you by reducing a level, and if you beat the spread, they raise a level.

i have reached rank 4 in arcade-strike(uups ^^). now im rank 384. but i have won every game (ca.30) since i was been in the top10.
mostly with the b17, a lot off points and kills, and almost a k/d 2-1.

STINGERSIX78 01-21-2010 10:45 AM

example...

rank -- Lvl -- points -- kills -- accuracy -- games played

384 -- 21 -- 75 -- 350 -- 2,05% -- 147 (thats me)

1 -- 44 -- 184 -- 68 -- 1,08% -- 106

10 -- 34 -- 148 -- 3 -- 0,17% -- 35

hmmmm.....

for them the column with the gamepad as a symbol is for games played in total or for those won?

I'm pretty sure it's games played. Agree with the scoring system as I was ranked 2nd in strike for a while but am now way down. I've had it where even if I've wiped out every target and not been shot down I've dropped in the rankings??? Seems to have a mind of it's own. If it is related to say number of kills against points scored then it's a little unfair if you get a game where there's a lot of 'respawn' deaths!

Bears repeating.

Look at the mess Stinger dispalyed. The only thing on there that has any order to it is level. Everything else is just stats. Averages probably. But then, the number 10 guy averages 3 kills? We can't figure out how level is determined. That's the bottom line.

Just make god status your goal and you'll move up!!!!!

Couldn't he just be getting a load of points from bombing? Like in CTA mode someone might have got a tonne of capture points but hardly shot down any enemy. He'd level up just from the points.

Shadowcorp 01-23-2010 03:06 AM

i've won my last 6 matches with somw with good k/d others against tough opposition but still won them all and my level still drops, however i have been suffering alot of lagg deaths and those crazy lagg double triple quadruple kills what is the source of that crazy lagg glitch thing anyone?

kozzm0 01-23-2010 03:21 AM

I'm tellin ya, it's the devs drinking vodka and gambling on the matches. It's their entertainment. If they bet on you and you win, your level goes up. If they bet on your opponent and you win, your level goes down.
