Online Multiplayer Poll: XBOX or PS3
I would like to know how many people are currently playing online (that are on this forum) in both the XBOX and the PS3 and what mode you prefer to play in, Arcade, Realistic or Simulator. Thank you for your vote.

I play all three modes, I just do better for some reason in realistic. They all have their merits and drawbacks; not least of which is it splits the player pool. There are 4 games, strike, cta, dogfight, and team battle. On Xbox, there is player and ranked, which means there are 8 possible rooms times three for each mode of arcade, realistic, and simulator which makes 24 possibilities. No wonder it is hard to find a game. Me, I just like to fly and die (I get shot down a lot) lol

Interesting, Realistic has the most players on XBOX, where as PS3 has none?
PS3 users, is it true there is little or no activity in Realistic? |
Voted TRC.....Xbox Sim mainly (but do Realistic if Sim rooms are sparse)

Another reason I don't want to have to switch over to Ps3 to have the patch!!!! NOBODY PLAYS THE BEST MODE!

I wonder if the improved draw distance on PS3 has made sim a tad more appealing? Strange poll results but early days yet given the numbers who have voted. I would have expected similar for both consoles, hopefully TRC will get more votes. Be nice to try BOP on PS3 just to experience a few sessions with the PS3 members.........and to see how much difference the patch makes of course!

Mirgervin dropped in for a few Xbox dogfight sessions tonight and interesting to hear his views comparing PS3 post patch to the Xbox.....lets say, he was cussing a bit! :grin:

Mirg was mainly cussing about the Kill/crash problem. He said that the Blackouts/Redouts were something that he had to adapt his flying to but overall he felt the patch had made the game far better. More people on PS3 SIM than Xbox. There was only Mirg, Robotic and myself when he signed on but a good opportunity to fly against him with just three of us.......yep he won....7-4 including RP's kills. He's joining us tonight as well.......another chance to practice lag/lead persuit on his rolling scissors......hope we get him all to ourselves but doubt it!

Anyone else out there want to vote, I know there is more then 47 people online! If this poll is a true representation of what is out there, it is showing that there are more people on XBOX, does that seem correct? |
Sim on Xbox, simply because it provides the ability to sneak up on someone unnoticed.
