I have been keeping it from my 5 year old boy, leaving him to Star Wars the complete saga.
After playing that for a while it seems that BoP is less violant then the 3+ rated Star Wars game. |

ok class what happened during the battle of britain and the blitz (expected answer children evacuated etc) answere given many he111's flew over england bombing cities and airfields whil us in hurricanes and spitfires tried to shoot them down using 8 303 machine guns (then gives a demonstration on air combat tactics) |
But they're all better pilots than me!!!!

My 3 yr old daughter also likes to play "daddys aeroplane game"
She likes to fly upside down and she likes crashing, like her Dad in Sim mode... |
My 12 year old daughter plays MW2 online. BAD dad.

Call me old fashioned but shouldn't a 2 year old be kicking balls in the garden and playing in sand pits/ball pools/under-the-table-dens?
Staring at screen for hours can kinda come later, surely? just sayin... |

I just make sure he's in bed before I place my shotty in the back of some unkowing fool's head on mw2 and spray brains; he's not ready yet to learn about the "dark passenger"... |

I reckon that a nice balance of education, fun and feeding curiosity will get you far as a parent. MW2 is a totally unsuitable for any child and I'm glad ur one of the sensible ones! |
:-P:-P:-P:-P
How this thread turned out. Fathers parenting their kids and BoP :-P:-P:-P:-P:-P:-P |

I dont let my 5 year old play BoP but I bring him sometimes with me to work.
Sometimes he is just to eager and gets out of control for me: Attachment 1858 |

I sure hope there NEVER will be a thread called: Wife loves stick |
Well my 5 year old adores flying his spitfire and I agree he's learned a lot about the real battle of Britain as a result. So much so that he now has his own 'gallery' of screendumps on his wall to compliment the every growing collection of airfix hanging from the roof! I just pray he doesn't load up grand theft when I'm not there!!!!

agree with u ,my son will never play gta until he will be an adult!! |
My 12 year old son sometimes "borrow" my hangar. He loves to land the planes, of all things... Sadly he doesn't have the big interrest, and the stamina to learn to handle the flight-stick for more "difficult tasks" yet, but I hope he will someday. As it is now he plays MW2 online as most of his 12 year old friends. I my self played CoD from the start so I guess the responsibility is mine after all. But then again... I think young boys are young boys regardless of when & where, so he would have been exposed to the game anyway. I know they play GTA by friends so I have no illusions at all when it comes to hiding certain stuff and experiences for him. Sooner or later they will loose theire innocense, I just cherish it in him as long as I can. But I realised one thing; It is important for me to take a dive into the games he play online, do it togehter with him and talk with him about it, and say a few words about what is okay behaviourðics online... Relations is made in gameplaying to. I think I would be a less responsible father if I didn't do it. But thats my stand.
Anyway... We need more recruits :-) BoP til u drop! |

My son is only interested in shooting games, more violent the better in his eyes. I do worry about it sometimes. He has a 360 and I have a PS3. If I thought he would play it I would buy him BOP for 360.
