Hi all, I tried a couple of games against some guy that seems to love sunsets lol. He only picked stalingrad Map during the evening. Headache!! lol
( I won against his Ta, and had a draw against his la5)
I used and will only use hurricane :( I dont think I will have time to unlock others

Well, I was kind of disappointed when I saw that I only have 1 option for xbox controller layout, and since I was used to my PS3 controller Aviator Layout, I am having difficulties. Also, the xbox controller feels very weird, but I guess its because I got used to PS3 controller.

Vicious Eagle? Im getting use to it, I dont like when I have to throttle up low, because sometimes I end up using rudder and crash. Also, if you sometimes notice me shooting at nothing for no reason, what Im trying to do is throttle up lol, (aviator layout PS3). What gets to me sometimes is when I have clear shot I also end up pulling up the map (Xbox: B = map, Ps3 (aviator layout): O = fire) :S

I guess I will need to practice. I will only have xbox for about 2 weeks. Hopefully, I can get to the top 10 of leaderboards LOL.

Yep, Vicious Eagle on Xbox. Do the leaderboards work the same on the PS3? I wish they rewarded the number of matches won versus the number of kills. As it is now to get to the top requires downing over 100 aircraft regardless of how many matches you win. I'd much rather have a pro score ranking system like so many sports.

Well, ranking on PS3 is weird, it looks likw they try to do a pro score like you mentioned but dont exactly know what they had in mind. (it is not like Xbox ranking, though, in PS3 it does not matter how many kills you have.

OK, that doesn't make sense... How do you have that many kills/games played, and are not first?

I guess if the 182 kills were against high ranked pilots and the 609 kills were against low ranked pilots it would make sense. The 182 kills are given more value than the 609 and therefore the higher ranking. It is at least alot better than the Xbox ranking.

Sorry for not flying longer in those Xbox skies people, thanks for the matches.

I decided that I dont really have enough time to get used to the control setup because of exams this week and a little project that I have been working on for the BoP PS3 SIM guys.

Since I bought a used copy of BoP from gamestop I will get my refund to help buy a copy of CoD MW2, which is another reason I wont be having time for BoP on Xbox. I will be returning the xbox to my friend sooner than expected.

P.S. If Any of you guys have both consoles (PS3 and Xbox) and can get a hold of a PS3 BoP copy, you are welcome to join my project :)

aww that's a bummer man. Never saw you online. Guess cos of timezone differences. Told MIGERVIN about you and he was pretty exited about taking you on. He's a damn good pilot.

Yeah, sorry. I did not do to well on the xbox because of the control layout, it was different from what I was used to. So probably your friend would have kicked my ass lol.

*About which I think is better, I believe the PS3 colors are more alive, skies are more blue, Dover Map terrain is more green. the xbox, on the other hand, is kind of opaque with the brightness I have a PS3 video, not the best quality, I will post here.

*Also Xbox is too damn bright, I had to lower brightness to "0". My PS3 settings for brightness are "18"! Another thing, this I found curious, planes feel heavier or better yet less responsive to controls, but I think this is because of the throttle being on same stick as rudder (since I use rudder a lot maybe It interfered with the throttle)

*Now this I think is the greatest of all differences, free look being on right analog stick and rudder and throttle being on R1,R2,L1,L2. I can almost compare this to having TrackIr (see my video below to see what I mean)
