So im sick of playing BoP to the sounds of tutting and bored sighs, so i decide to try and introduce my darling girlfriend to the game.

Bad idea.

I had to practically fight her for the controller all day. She really likes it. NOTE TO DEVS: Please try to make the next game less good, or, failing that, release some horrible dlc so that everytime you get a kill you see a baby rabbit die or something, to stop her playing..

But no seriously, ive done a good job and started her off on realistic, shes already completed the battle of britain, and actually not flying too badly at all =] shes even gonna get herself a copy for her xbox so we can play online together!!

A really good example of how broad the appeal of this game is, if only more people would try it and love it!! Anybody else have this problem? Maybe we could make a 'girlfriend league' and place bets on it. And make them bikini wrestle afterwards. Maybe.

Ive already sold 3 of my pals on the game. They are just waiting on having spare cash to buy it and a flight stick. As for the other half, er nope she hates flying games. Bubble bobble or Tetris is her kind of thing.

Well my girlfriend is currently hooked on the Yak-1 and Yak-3. She doesn't like the Yak-9T because of the crazy recoil of the 37mm. She also likes playing with the Il-4, which surprisingly she kicks some serious ass with. Even I was shocked when she was flying the Il-4!?

Yeah mines into the russki planes too, i had her flying the la7 earlier which she enjoyed.

Think that's bad? My wife only wants to play Lego games. I'm a SAD PANDA.

Only game worse than Lego is "The Golden Compass". Only a sick, twisted individual would allow their fiance' to stick that game in their 360.(LOL Jkerr):grin:

thats when you calmly shut the game off, call a buddy and go to the bar for the next 4 nights. she will never say it again with sarcasm..

Gaming with my wife or Gf sends shivers down my spine ....its almost like having matching jumpers BUT theres Nothing i like more than to see my wifes eyes rolled back in her head:rolleyes: One of the times i see this is when i turn my Ps3 on and start shooting stuff. I dont want my wife to play games unless its Wii Fit or Housework 4 "the reckoning".

Same as she dosnt want me to spend hours wandering through clothes shops. Am i sexist no not really but im happy my other half dosnt game.

My fiance attempted to play the game for 10 minutes or so... Then she got dizzy and cursed The Goat for pushing the game on her. :(

I managed to introduce my wife to gaming, we even played Resident Evil 4 in co-op. Most of the time, however, she prefers to just watch me play, cheering me all the way. :) She's just not very good with controls in games. :rolleyes: IL-2 makes her dizzy.

well i once tryed to get kim to play gears of war 2 lmao!!! no chance she only likes playing lego indianajones on the wii lol :grin:

Amazing how fast they come around, ain't it?:rolleyes: My wife doesn't game but she really wants a Wii for Christmas. So one of you lads do me a favor, if you see me playing Wii sports or LEGO anything, please, KILL ME!!!
