Olegs SimHQ interview

The suspence is almost killing me! Should be soon! (give or take a week or two !) ) Down to proof reading.

Hey why would it need proof reading? I'm sure theres a whole lot of people around here that will point out the errors!

why give it to 1C first ? it is an interview by a sim website (simhq.com), with oleg as a game developer answering their questions.

i presume the same information might still later show up in this il2 forum at 1C because so far oleg has been irregularly communicating with us, and it might well be seen by them/him as an alternative to the update we have been waiting for in the last few months.

I should of said 'hoping to see in game screen shots'.

Well he did put a post up in SimHQ saying 'New constant BoB development updates' and pointed it to this site.

No wonder, you are always disappointed, Tree_UK.

You really put up your expectations sky-high each time, really begging for somebody to hit you in the face to get yourself grounded again.

IMHO it's great news that despite the current crisis Oleg is still working on the project and we're getting closer to a release, no matter how long it will take still.
Anything above is bonus IMHO.

Tree_UK 05-18-2009 01:46 PM

How can i be disappointed the interview has not been shown yet, and please show me examples of my previous disappointments to substantiate your overrated opinion.

got complaints on your gif. We have pre-teens on these boards all the time.

Feuerfalke 05-18-2009 03:08 PM

Oh, with pleasure, Tree!

How about this post on SimHQ (you posted a similar statement here). I just had to LOL, especially considering it's based on this statement by guod:
"Yep. Among other things, work continues on SoW."

Your reply:

I wonder what other stuff Oleg is busy with, BOP springs to mind.

Priceless!

How in the world can he DARE do something else than programming SoW? :D

I also love your PROOF-quote that Oleg promised he will release systems specs this month:
Quote:

"It would wish so that in online there would be specification of systemo of May 2009 quarries and reputation [banom] of the nick of the killed pilot. Nice Of dwarf of throwing of them me seems, this it would add discipline and made a game of of more interesting. Still for example, the motion of front line in [zasisimosti] from that, who won round - in this case it would be possible love it my marmite to play to the complete victory on the map, i.e., in the war. So well it would be to form the crew of bomber [v] from [virpilov]. With the respect"
