All because ONE PERSON took that thread where it was never intended to go....

I am just curious as to why you didnt just remove the offending posts instead of deleting the entire thread.. tossing out the baby with the bath water.

I made that post in good faith with the very best intentions and se timents... and it is a shame that one self serving person caused the thread to get tossed... and considering the sentiment... not so much as a peep from anyone.

Guys, I have already apologised for my overreaction and *deleted* language....It was wrong and I am Man enough to say so. The reason I reacted that way was because a certain party replied to my sincere post saying "Sad, sick person...full of hate and not even knowing it. You are to be pitied." Read what I wrote again and make up your own mind, maybe ask yourself how YOU would have reacted. What can I say, it was out of character and I am certainly no "troll", but in fairness Doolittles harsh accusation was extremely unfair and unwarranted too.

Feurfalke, I cannot reply on the off topic as it is now closed. No, I do not practice some form of discriminatory Anti-American "good/bad guy" thing as seemed to be the implication......I have never seen the Nazi or Pirate Buccaneer threads you mention. 90% of my squad mates whom I love are Americans and Canucks. I have already explained this. I don't see why my words cannot be taken in good faith.

Bearcat, you are right. You started the topic in good faith, but my original comment was sincere and in good faith too. It went "wrong" when I was personally insulted. Thats all.
