Finally got COD to play in full Glory

Hello

Have just bought a new Alienware Aurora ALX i7 3960X over clocked at 4.2 Ghz, with a Nvidia GTX 680, and 16Mb Ram. and the game play fabulous............

No stutters and everything maxed out.

I know its a bit extreme to but a new rig to play a game. But I can know play it as it should be with everything maxed out:grin:

Regards

Future-proofed. Good job.

Are you in a squadron? What do you fly normally?

Can I just ask;How did you manage to get one 680 when they only sell them in a SLI setup?

I'd also rather go with a single 680, since I bet dual ones will cause micro stutters. did oyu just take one out?

So, now we know that we all should buy maxed out alienwares! :P

Jont122 - i've been playing it on my Alienware laptop. Not maxed the graphics out and using a mix of high to low - getting avg 60fps.

Happy as on laptop .....

Enjoy the Alienware beast.

Hello

The GTX 680 is just one card, can be fitted as pair in SLi

But you would be better buying a GTX 690 in that case.

What I meant was: how did you manage to buy an Alienware aurora with one unit of gtx 680, when I'm configuring one at their site, I can only chose two 680s in sli, how did you buy it with only one 680? I'd like to know cause I wouldn't want to buy two 680s

Hello

If you look on Graphics card choice the last option on single card is the 2Gb GTX 680.

If you go right to the bottom you get Dual GTX 680's

Hope this helps:grin:

No offense but why would you pay ~4k for something you could build better for half that?
