my russian version speaks russian again

after the patch my russian version "speaks" russian again:(
first i thought it would be no problem to change the maddox.dll file again to have it in german again.but when i exchanged them,my game was repatched to the previous version.:(
so do i have to wait for a new maddox.dll. file or what?

All that trouble just for having CoD 3 or 4 days earlier than the rest of the EU

Maybe you should try and get a 'new' maddox-file from a person known to have a german version. Though I don't know if that's legal or not.

Before changing the file, switch Steam's automatic patching off.

But regardless, I'm not sure it's legal for us to use the Russian version outside of Russia?

did you do that triggaaar???i tried it, but the version seems to be the old one again.
after i set cod in steam not to update itself,i exchanged the maddox.dll files.entered the game, and i have the old version.then i went back to steam again, and my settings, not to update the game, was changed automatically to keep the game up to date.

Old maddox file must have been replaced in patching. Someone should upload the lately patched maddox.dll to some download site.

No, sorry I never got the Russian version simply because I only had to wait a couple of days. When you said it just changed it, I thought that perhaps Steam was continually over-writing your edited version, which is what Steam should do, unless you switch off automatic updates. Sorry, it was just a guess.

no problem triggar.it was worth a try.
now anybody can upload the new maddox.dll file somewhere?????
