Collector Edition Spitfire I Pilot's Notes Amendment

...

For the Happy Fellows who have ordered the Collector Edition, there are some printing discrepancies in the Spitfire I Pilot's Notes included.
  • The Paragraphes 19 to 25 and 34 to 39 in Section I are double printed.

  • But most importantly the Paragraphes 12(ii) Spinning, 13 Aerobatic and 13a Diving are missing.

    So please incorporate the page attached below between pages F.S/6 and F.S/7 in the Section 2.

Thanks for that, where did you find the ammendment?

Have you maby scans from original Spitfire MK1 manual about engine settings ( with new 100 octan fuel power settings)?

Absolutely! Or just the ammendments. I've just searched the National Archives and habe found the following ammendments (not sure which sections they go to though);

Amendment Lists: 1-4, 10, 12-14, 16, 23, 24, 29, (incorporated) 6, 12, 28, 30

Pay them lots of money! They wanted £74.50 from me to send me a printed copy of the MkI pilots notes.

The best way to view them is request to view them at Kew in London which you can do for free. Of course, if you don't live near then that's a pain but that's the best way.
